The song always brings me joy. I Listen to it every new year's day to embrace my new year. This time, self-quarantining at home, my courses go virtually, commencement ceremony has been canceled, the big crash has been happening in the stock market, the economy steps into a recession, and I don't know how much my future has been changed. They always say self hard work can not fight against the tide of the times. Right now, I need to make a big decision for my life. Anyway, I am listening to this song again in the middle of March 2020. Hope everyone can stay healthy and we can go through these hard times soon. Best wishes.

Прекрасная песня. И видео было бы просто шикарным, если бы не платье и причёска, которые совершенно не идут прекрасной Тарье... Но в остальном - просто прекрасно! Обожаю её голос

Original ABBA version is sung completely in English. I've been wondering why she sings some parts of the song in Spanish.She's a Finnish, so Spanish isn't her mother tongue. Whatever the language, her voice is soothing us in this hard time. May we welcome happy new year 8 month later! Of course this song accompanies us at the moment.

She lived in Argentina since 2003 (I think) and she is now living in Spain since 2016.

Abba released a spanish version of Happy New Year called Felicidad. Actually abba have a Spanish album with a Spanish version of their success (like dancing queen, mamma Mia, Fernando, knowing me knowing you). This album is called Abba Oro. Tarja is married with a Argentinian guy, and as this song have the two versions and the album was released in Finland and in Argentina she thought it would be a good idea sing together the English and Spanish version of Happy New year.

Christmas concert happened. Not a rock gig. TV productions might be different to make as if it was a pure live show. I think this is just so beautiful. And we get to hear her singing very different way than usually. Abba’s Happy New Year is one of my favourite songs and this was awesome version.
