T.K. and T.J. sound alike she got it wrong but I think it was an innocent mistake on her part. However Carlos could have corrected her, it would not have hurt to say, mom, you heard it wrong it s T.K. not T.J., she would not have been upset

Thank you. Aww, Carlos, When the bartender was talking to TK, you’re like, I want people to know you are mine/my boyfriend, but then when the parents show up, oh, here’s my friend, TK☹️ I feel TK’s frustration. Let’s hope it gets better.

TK did go through a bad break up. Must have hurt him to hear him being friend zoned like that. But Carlos had his reasons which turned out to be invalid because his dad (and probably mom) knew all along and approved. I am so glad this happened because after this, the fight and the heart to heart they had were an eye opener. So relatable to us too. Love the show and love Tarlos ❤

It’s bad enough that he didn’t introduce him as his boyfriend, but the fact that he has never talked to his parents about TK before this, even just as a friend, makes me really sad.

@@lunatic5162 "It's not his (Carlos') fault"? How was it not? I understand, to a very certain degree, of why Carlos didn't see that T.K. was his Boyfriend. He said he was, 'Out (of the Closet)' to them, but, he didn't want to "rub it in their faces". That's one thing, but to not even introduce T.K. to them as a "platonic" friend, at least, is very disappointing... Welp... back in the Closet we go.. Yikes..

@@TheAqaqaqaqaqaqwouldn't introducing him as a platonic friend be even worse? 😭 I have a friend who REFUSES to introduce his bf to his parents as a platonic friend and even allow his parents to believe so by having him around the house. He says he doesn't wanna lie to his parents, valid, and he also doesn't want to introduce his boyfriend as just some other friend, it doesn't do justice to their relationship, also valid. He's working on telling them he's gay, then later introducing his bf to them. Only difference is he's bf knows all this. I think it's fair Carlos introduced TK as a friend. He didn't want to, but backed into the corner like this and he wasn't ready to let the cat out of the bag, it's understandable. Only thing is, I wish he told TK all this before.

I just wish that Carlos had told TK about his parents before they ran into him. I think TK would’ve understood and he wouldn’t have been caught off guard. Even worse, Carlos’s mom calls TK the wrong name which also tells TK that Carlos hasn’t even told them about his existence in Carlos’s life. Luckily TK quickly figured out what was happening and played along even though he was clearly in shock and upset by it.

@@thorium222 he means afro-Latino + something else . His character’s parents are not indigenous. Indigenous people of Mexico/etc have darker/reddish skin. Rafael was just a bad casting decision. *if they’re actually going the Mexican Texan route*
