I don't think Minaithnir would be too broken up by Imrik going for Miao Ying. After all Imrik basically gave him his own dragon harem. Imrik is like the ultimate wingman for Minaithnir. I would think Minaithnir would be cheering Imrik on, and saying something like after surrounding me with dragons you deserve a dragon waifu too.

To think that a bit more than a year ago, Grand Cathay was nothing more than a few paragraphs and a name on a map. Now, not only does it have a fully fleshed roster full of potential, not only does it have an authentic look that fit with the rest of the lore smoothly, but it even successfully catched up on the memes and jokes part, thanks to people like you. Grand Cathay is easily my favorite faction in the warhammer setting now, and I cant thank enough CA and guys like you for everything :)

Honestly have to disagree, Cathay as we see it has almost none of the things that made me excited for it, it’s constructs are nigh nonexistent and honestly are boring, it’s roster is far too low fantasy in general

I think the hard truth is that it doesn't need to appeal to everyone and fit everyone's vision. Anything crazier and it would fail to be WHFB. And if it were truly so awful why are you here complaining? It's pointless. Show them what you think by going elsewhere.

Wouldn't make much sense though (as questionable as a dragon-blooded horse is but this is fantasy). A dragon isn't going to give birth to a longma (it's pretty much a horse) but perhaps a horse might give birth to one. Thus it has to be a mare impregnated by a dragon. Zhao Ming is the most logical choice considering his eccentricities. Besides, it's what you would rather see.
