The Immortal is an isometric adventure game originally created for the Apple IIGS, which was ported to the Amiga, Atari ST, MS-DOS based PCs, NES, and Genesis. The main plot revolves around a wizard attempting to find his mentor in a large and dangerous labyrinth.
DrD2k9 ( tasvideos.org/... ) crawls his way through the labyrinth and completes the game as fast as possible. This movie is a 00:53.83 second improvement over DrD2k9's previous work ( tasvideos.org/... ).
This movie has a full Atlas Map encode ( • The Immortal (Any% TAS... ), which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map.

Waaaay back in the day, my father rented this game and the way it looked mesmerized my baby self. Years and years later I would come back and play and fail, and later emulate it. My father tossed the controller because of how this game played. I understood that no matter how well I had become at games that I would never beat this game. I could look up walkthroughs but I was just angry and frustrated at it too much to care. I myself love a hard game but when the difficulty of the game does not call on skills but luck and memories of death traps I stopped caring. I'm glad the game got TAS'ed but I really wish it was playable in a way that made a lick of sense. It was and is gorgeous for an Original Nintendo game, and it really could have been more. Hardly a classic, more of a headache but this was still a good video.

man I LOVED this game when i was 10 years old it was like Diablo before Diablo (and Diablo Immortal too)

I always wanted to own this game as a kid. I'd rent it several times and try to figure it out and loved doing so... But man, that ending... suuuucked.

Are you aware of the coffee pot and body odor? Do you think you could improve your speed with this easter egg because then you can use the body odor to INSTANTLY kill the trolls that follow?
