That's a pretty varied moveset for a guest character,every attack feels surprisingly unique

I love Gon. he has his own Kid's show and it's actually pretty cute. his ending here in T3 pretty much happens in the show. and he is indestructible.

Darn, so many nostalgic vibes inside me right now. Ahh, I remember playing the whole 10 rounds as Gon as a kid, so I could leave my console playing the ending animation for the whole day because it looped around all the time. Darn, those were good times.

Gon is not fire resistant. If two Gons play against each other you'll see they can still get fire damage from the other Gon. He's just immune to True Ogre's fire blast. Well, almost immune. He still gets one damage point from that.

Gon actually has a grab that can be done when enemy is laying in the ground, but it cannot be done because gons arms won't hit. Maybe it could be done on certain different size characters but it cannot be done normally at least.

Here for the stellar gameplay and nostalgia. GOD I love Gon's moveset. My uncle had a memory card that had a gameshark save on it, gave it to me, went through the roster and said, wait, who the hell is this? I cheezed so many neighborhood kids, my little brother, even my dad lmao. Cheers to the GOAT 😂 They could all probs cook me with any character, but no one knew wtf Gon was and how I was busting their kneecaps, so everyonr thought I was OP. The damage of many attacks is insane. What was the balancing back then? The fights weren‘t supposed to take as long as nowadays, I suppose.

Even though he's a guest fighter, Gon just fits right in with the rest of Tekken 3's roster. Meanwhile, Akuma sticks out like a sore thumb in Tekken 7.

I had no idea Gon was a manga character, always thought he was just a quirky animal fighter to fit alongside King, Roger Jr, Kuma, and Panda. Always wondered why he was only in Tekken 3.
