One and done! I like those little sling days. I think I've only had one ground guy. usually I'm doing it all myself. Fly safe🐾🚁✌️

Excelent video, all the action with unload and load all rope and barells for one cargo and passenger flight ..... But i have question why you use that blue nylon rope on the path to cargo hook there is no electrical connection to hook (blue 3pin coupling), my opinion you dont need to use it in this scenario but why ? for extend lenght ?
@UpsideDownWash
@UpsideDownWash 3 жыл бұрын
The blue nylon sling is used to extend the whole long line so that we can deliver the load close to the tower. The tower is about 46 m and the long line without the blue nylon sling is 42m. With the nylon it is 48, therfore clearing the helicopter above the top of the tower.

Great video as always! What's the point of connecting the electrical sockets on the wire if you have the blue rope in the middle? :p
@UpsideDownWash

It's so they don't swing around when we're flying. Not needed but they take less wear if they are connected

Hvordan fungerte utløseren på kroken når det var stropp mellom 2 wire , siste kontakten ble nå ikke plugget inn ?
@UpsideDownWash
@UpsideDownWash 3 ай бұрын
da funker ikke den med utløser nede i kroken. da har man kun mulighet til å slippe hele hele linen og lasten fra buken (både elektrisk og med manuell utløser)

Hello , question: Do you have a limitaion on the number of start up cycle / day ??
@UpsideDownWash
@UpsideDownWash 3 жыл бұрын
we dont have a limit per se but we try to reduce it as much as possible. thats why its on idle instead of shutting down. the shutdown and startup provedure combined would only save us maybe 1.5 to 2 min compared to just keeping it running, and we use a lot less cycles this way.

Weird longline arrangement. Why the nylon sling in the second stage?
@UpsideDownWash
@UpsideDownWash 3 жыл бұрын
Nylon cause there wasn't enough wire. The tower is 46m and there is only 42m of wire. 48m with the nylon in the middle.

@@UpsideDownWash Why did you switch? I fly on the west coast of Canada. Interesting to see how you do some things differently (...and better) over there. Cheers
@UpsideDownWash
@UpsideDownWash 3 жыл бұрын
@@kootzy690 mainly because of price. The wire i think is about 1/3 of the price. The wire is heavier, which means its is more work to handle it on the ground, but it also hangs straight down even if its very windy. The fiber line would move out of the sling window at about 15 to 20 kt winds. Also you can more easily fly fast in descent with the wire without the chance of it going up into the tail
@tommiloudd3846
@tommiloudd3846 3 жыл бұрын
@@UpsideDownWash fiber wires are better thanks to their light weight so, whenever your specialist works on the ground he can do faster and better because a 20 meter wire weighs less than 2 kg. I personally do aircrane work everyday and we use fiber wires coupled with a 10 kg hook which is enough to keep the wire away from your tail rotor. You shouldn't speed oever the 70 kts with a load attached on the cargo hook so you are safe enough.
@UpsideDownWash
@UpsideDownWash 3 жыл бұрын
@@tommiloudd3846 well "better" is relative. Fiber lines have shorter life spans and get damaged more easily. They are lighter yes. H125 limit is 80kts with underslung load. It won't matter if the hook is 10 og 30 kg if you have a 20 m fiber line. If you descend fast enough it will hit the tail.
