김밥 모습을 보면서 입맛을 다시는 건 또 오랜만인 것 같아요 종류도 많은 것 같고 엄청 깔끔해보여서 더 먹고 싶어지는 것 같아요 특히 봉봉에그랩은 너무 맛있어보이는데 당장 가서 사먹고 싶어지네요 군침돌게 영상을 잘 찍으신 것도 먹고 싶어하는 데 한 몫하신 것 같아요 ㅎㅎ

Huge fan of SPAM, it’s horribly underrated. I prefer mine fried a little more though. Get a nice little crust on it.

딴지는 아니고 마끼는 일본식 아니 던가요? 유례를 따져 보지는 않았지만 후토 마끼(?)에서 한국의 김밥이 유례가 되지 않았나 싶고요? 캘리 롤 창시자도 일본인 이고요.

The sushi rice machine is amazing. I always have a hard time getting the rice even. They dont seem to roll tight enough though. Mayo on sushi is a year 2000s invention. In the 70’s and 80’s that would be sacrilegious. And American cheese on sushi rolls? A bit nauseating to look at.

So, just to clarify, pairing crystallized-frozen raw fish with fake American cheddar cheese is supposed to make Korean food look… tasty? Literally they’re taking a FAT handful of green onions (no prep done to them whatsoever) and throwing on Kraft singles, and then layering that in an entire roll of imitation crab (I’m guessing? It’s just a roll of red that looks like clay), no-longer-fresh-or-crispy shrimp tempura, a mountain of frozen-and-not-thawed blocks of salmon, and gobs of ginger? Just want to confirm what all the commenters here are saying looks delicious and makes them want to go to Korea for 😂

모든 맛난 음식은 일단 재료와 정성이야. 그럼되는데 사장님들이 초심을 잃는때가 계란파동 무슨파동 원재료 가격 올라가고 그럴때 굵직했던 계란이 눈에 띄게 얇아지면 그땐 소비자가 눈 돌리는거지. 잘되는집은 초심을 잃지 않더라.

Ah yes. Spam and a couple slices of government cheese and you can count on not going for a week and a half. That's how we kept on a few pounds after the War. Starvation and Polio were a sign of the times. I'm sorry. But I starved and was a victim of Polio.
