Ingredients
Chicken - 1 kg
Onion - 5 nos
Ginger - nos
Garlic - 7 to 8 nos
Curry leaves - 2 to 3 sprigs.
Lemon - 1 nos
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Redchilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Fennel seed powder - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Salt - 2 to 3 tbsp
Oil - 1/2 kg
Method
Firstly, we have to crush the ginger and garlic and set them aside.
Take a pan,add cleaned chicken pieces.
Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and pepper powder.
Add fennel seed powder, crushed gingergarlic paste,salt and garam masala.
Then squeeze lemon juice on top of the chicken and mix them well.
Mix them well and marinate for half an hour.
Then wash and clean the peeled onion and set it aside.
Then chop the onion and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté them well.
Then add some salt and sauté them well till the onions become translucent.
Then add curry leaves and sauté them well.
Then add the marinated chicken pieces and mix them well.
Cover and cook them well until the chicken is well cooked.
Remove the lid and check whether the chicken is well cooked or not.
Then add some curry leaves and mix them well.
Remove from fire and keep aside.
Serve the tasty Ulli chicken with meals.
