Pacifist Contra turns the first stage into an absolute nightmare. The final stage, which is essentially a boss rush, becomes a cakewalk in comparison because you actually get to shoot and eliminate threats.

I had to see this for myself. I was not disappointed. That was nuts seeing contra dodge wave after wave of enemies and projectiles. And the game is much more quiet when youre not constantly blasting enemies.

At 0:35 there's a period with the player, seven regular enemies, and two dogs all in a row on-screen at once with no terrible flicker, plus another two enemies above those too. Very impressive. And it flies in the face of certain people who continue to falsely claim the SNES can't handle more than a few enemies on-screen at once. Is this a hacked version of the game with some kind of flicker reduction, overclocking, FastROM patch, or slowdown turned off, or just the regular stock game?

if you buying this game on the snes-mini it seems you get scammed from the last phase of the last boss, siriously i think nintendo scammed me xD but beatiful run, the pacifist-style....the swagpoints.... incredible. just fun to watch^^
