I purchased the Diesel last week, replacement for my Vista Aura 2008. And the altroz is a great improvement on NVH. The Diesel is a great car on performance and road handling. Only one drawback is that altroz has a very large flat dash panel under the front glass, and that is highly reflective when clean and polished. Do not apply polish or oily greasy stuff on that panel.

I'm driving this car from last 6 months, it's performance is amazing, mine is diesel it has zero turbo lagg, it's very easy to drive in traffic

There should be a crossover version of Tata Altroz similar to Ford Freestyle with better Ground Clearance, since Tata Nexon Diesel is too expensive.

Yes, freestyle is good for bachelers,...but Altroz beats freestyle as a family car with its space and comfort.

We talk about safety standards and mandatory provisions to be provided by car manufacturers.but why altroz 5star is not attracting customer is just because of poor service. India is 75 years far behind safety standards and another 75 years we will not follow safety standards. Indian customer needs good service.why there is no third party certification for car service in India. Maruti will dominate the car market till such time govt doesn't roll new safety standards equivalent to 5 star rating. Govt is absolutely not bothered on passenger safety they only want to mint money and compromise on the life of passenger.

I20 diesel is the king of this segment.. Milage almost 25 km per litre and 240 nm torque 40 nm extra than altroz.. But it bit expensive..

Go for diesel.. Better engine compared to 3 cyl petrol engine.. Highly fuel efficient, quite reliable compared to petrol and decently powerful too

Because it's a media vehicle the clutch may not be perfect, otherwise clutch is super light!

@@manyarohits170 why did tata fool us earlier without launching all the variants at the same time why did they launch the turbo later i am driving altroz and its not a finished product by all means gear shifts are hard car chokes itself on eco mode wierd sound from the engine after riding long distances bas safety ka naare lagaye jao even the pick up of the car is worst than baleno and also the resale is very poor think before saying twice everyone has there opinion nissan kicks is a finished product as i have drivem the cvt vartiant and you can see that while you ride the car a company is trying to change thinking of people like you stupid people like you pathetic morons like you

Ab aap ECO mode se city me drive karoge to kaise pickup milega?? Regarding driving and power: I have driven 5 different ALTROZ petrol and 3 different Diesel Altroz mujhe aawaaz sirf Diesel waali Diesel Altroz me aai baaki Petrol me cabin k andar koi kharaab noise nai hai bas smooth petrol machine ki aawaaz aati hai jab aap accelerator dabaao. Rahi baat variants ki to wo company apne R&D k hisaab se time to time launch karti hai...jarurii nai k har kisi k paas itne resources ho k sab kuch 2 saal me ready kar k rakh de. Aapne manual Altroz naturally aspirated apne budget k hisaab se liya hai car ki style , look and comfort + safety factor ko dekh k ..agar ye sab nai chahiye bas engine hi chahiye to aap khud intelligent hai FORD ki cars lene k liye...baaki ab TATA ko gaali dene se kuch nai hoga...product aapne apni marzi se li thi kisi ne force to nai kia tha na...ab aap sirf service k liye bol sakte hain product k liye aapko lene se pehle choose karna tha agar ENGINE REFINEMENT aapki priority hai to HYUNDAI lo...ENGINE POWER priority hai to FORD lo aur agar kuch bhi priority nai hai jaisa aaj tak chal raha hai waisa hi chalana hai to MARUTI lo... Safety + Comfort best in segment chahiye to sab bhul jaao aur TATA lo. Paise bahut ho to SKODA, VW etc le lo..roka kisne hai?? Budget me best cars bana k de rahi hai Tata aapko issues hain usse to le lo aap Maruti aur khel ko highway me apni life k saath gamble. Regarding Resale: It depends on perception. Aap nai bechenge saste me aur jo INDICA k jamaane ki baatein karte hain resale n service ki unki nai sunenge to aapko achhi resale value milegi. Maine apni Jan 2018 ki Tigor top model petrol ko 7.02 lac me khareeda tha 3 saal baad abhi last week hi 6.30 lac me becha hai...aap car ko maintain rakho new car se bhi zyada achhe se to price bhi waisa mil jaaega agar patiently buyer dhundo. Aapke jaise kaafi buyer aae the gyaan dene k Tata ki resale value kam hai...etc..maine saaf kaha: Gaadi dekho chalaao samjho aur fir bhi kam resale value me chahiye to ja k MARUTI le lo ya Indica dhund Lo. Mere paas 5.8 lac se 6.10 lac k offers the June se abtak multiple har mahine..maine nai becha ..mera price fixed tha 6.3 and at last maine 6.3 me hi becha...so it depends on seller k aap apne product ko kaise maintain and market karte ho.
