The internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the Curvv is expected to start at Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Curvv EV: Tata has also announced the launch timeline for the electric variant of the SUV-coupe, the Tata Curvv EV.
Seating Capacity: It will feature a 5-seater configuration.
Boot Space: The Tata Curvv will offer a boot space of 422 litres.
Engine and Transmission: The SUV-coupe will be powered by a new 1.2-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine, delivering 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque. It may come with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Additionally, Tata will offer it with the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine, producing 115 PS and 260 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Features: Notable features may include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, and a panoramic sunroof. Other expected features are ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, and push-button start/stop.
Safety: The Curvv will be equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. It is also anticipated to include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Rivals: The Curvv will directly compete with the Citroen Basalt and serve as a coupe alternative to compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Volkswagen Taigun.
