Absolutely bang on observation and narration. Yes in ideal state a car should be stand still before putting to reverse, however as you mentioned there can be a scenario where, we may have react promptly. As an example let say you are going up hill and on you are driving at a nominal speed and suddenly on a turn you see a vehicle broke down and coming down your way. Rather than waiting for for your car to stop. You would react instantly without waiting for your car to be stand still. In such scenario you cannot loose a second and if your car is stuck in neutral then am sure your car is going get dinged by the front vehicle. In essence, it is still a flaw which the manufacturer should look into. It is not a minor flaw and can cause serious repercussions.

One should only buy a diesel if you drive atleast 50 km per day. Diesel used to be a great option once it wasn’t that expensive. Buying a diesel car, you pay a premium of almost 1.5 lacs in advance. Do you think that you can average this in span of 10 years? Moreover there is always an axe hanging on diesel car. Lately there was suggestion made by a government body to ban all diesel cars by 2027. Although the suggestion has yet not been considered, but then why to take chances? As a matter of fact petrol is more powerful than diesel. If you really want quick acceleration, please consider Nexon EV. Its byfar the best option to consider.

Yes, the jerk would reduce drastically if driven in manual, however bear in mind that you would still feel marginal jerks depending upon how you drive, since there is no clutch in the picture. So it all depends on how you accelerate. You would not feel jerks if acceleration is soft and seemless. However on the flip side, you would definitely experience jerk if you tend to accelerate more. HTH!

I will say little lag in amt which feels on leg . Try driving in light foot 1-3 gears . U will feel the change

I understand where you coming from and will keep that in mind, however my intent was if the owner was aware about this issue being encountered in any other car. In general, if someone is facing an issue, the first thing the individual does is gather more information, be it from service center or by a known or an acquaintance. Sorry for late response! Ride main koi problem nahin hai. Iska suspension kaafi accha hai. Being a 3 cylinder engine you would experience rattling sound, but you get adjusted with time.

You are absolutely right stating that the car should be stationary once putting to reverse. It was just a test to showcase a flaw. And this situation can arise if there is a dire need. BTW just out of curiosity why you opted for AMT if you drive in manual?

No doubt habit main aa jaata hai but question yeh hai ki humey inn sabh cheezon ka dhyaan rakhna chahiye jab gaadi purchase karein. Nexon ko liya iss liye jaata hai kyunki won safe gaadi hai. Uss segment main uss se bhi zada safe gaadi hain jaise skoda kushaq ya volkswagen Taigun. Aur jis issue ki humney baat ki hai video main woh sabhi gaadiyon main hai to vo bahut galat baat hai TATA ki.

@@pritamkanire585 - Brother, I understand now. I will try to get a review done for Punch AMT soon. But trust me Diesel cars are of no use now. It has more cons than pros. Soon diesel cars would get obsolete from India. Future is EV.

Between the 2 I prefer Nexon. But if I need to talk about same budget then I would go with Maruti Grand Vitara. It all depends on your preferences. I give more preference to safety and comfort drive over fancy features.
