I own Nexon Diesel 2019. Completed 35000kms. City mileage 16 in peak traffic. In moderate traffic 18. Highway 25+. Well planted confident ride. Service is good. I would say still room for improvement. Build quality matters a lot. Had one crash on a Ford. Nexon service was less and delivered sooner.

I have Nexon diesel xms(bs6) its very good car in sub 4 meter , Safety , features, looks all things ultimate. I drive 163 km speed per hour really never lose my confidence & stability that's much comfortable car, best part is tata car rear seat comfortable nobody beat I bet .... All rounder Nexon is rocket when ur in sport's mode 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I have nexon from 2018 Nov, nearly 3 years (30K kms) completed. Service good, Mileage best class in Eco Mode, attractive spacious. there will be little noisy due to 3 stock engine. overall definitely it will be worth product for your money.

much confused between Nexon and XUV300. As user said, XUV300 has beige color which is challenge to maintain, and dashboard is not premium for the higher cost spent But wonderful punchy engine, good safety comparing nexon . However, on the other side, Nexon is a coupe model and doesnt feel airy and feel cramp on the rear side,(3rd person's comfort is a challenge in rear seating) can feel vibration and sound in the cabin comparing xuv300. Any thoughts ????

I am using new model. Clutch issue you mentioned is not there. Gear vibrations is still there. Noise at low speeds. But I am getting 18+ mileage so far. Ride quality is really good

Asusual good review. Go Pro shots and editing are really good 👍. In 2017 onroad price of the manual top diesel variant car around 11.5 lakhs are really worth and after getting 5 star rating they increased prices and now touching 14.5 lakhs. This car is the only one model kept alive of x1 platform indica and really superb car from Tata.

Mileage depends on driver. For me City gives 13.5kmpl and in highways you can get 20+kmpl with eco mode @80KMPH.

Very good review and detailed. Thank you. I'm also a Nexon user for last 6 months. I feel that Tata's customer experience is very bad. They need to improve a lot in terms of customer experience. Whenever I visit them, be it showroom or service, i feel like visiting a govt office especially in Chennai. Another major drawback i feel is it's city mileage. It's less than 10 in city traffic conditions like Chennai's. But highway mileage is very good more than 15kmpl for sure. Another negative I hve experienced is it's poor low beam visibility. If we drive in a dark wide road, low beam visibility is very poor. Vibrations and engine noise are felt inside the cabin in lower speeds. Another drawback is it had lot of minor software issues like service due reminder keep coming frequently, false tpms warnings, frequent disconnection of android auto while running etc. Otherwise this is a beast in terms of power delivery, features, safety, build quality etc. Overall I am satisfied

@@yeshwanthkumar i have been using Nexon and completed 8500 kms. It is very comfortable to drive with no issues. Mileage is a factor as i drive mostly in city traffic and with bumper to bumper traffic it is not going to give more than 11. Occasional highways will help to improve mileage figures. That's one thing to note for prospective buyers

XUV 300 is the best in this segment. I had the test drive for both cars Nexon and XUV 300 at the same day with 10 minutes gap. Nexon has blaind spot in the right A pillar, it has big cabin noice, and a lot of body roll. Even clutch is also harder than XUV 300. But in XUV 300 is far better in all the above. No cabin noice, very less almost no body roll, very easy light clutch. Very fun to drive. More safer then Nexon because of all wheal disc brake and 6 air bags. The 17" allay wheel give you more stable and confident drive. Besides XUV is heavier than Nexon. XUV300 is the best in this segment. Go for XUV 300. It has fun to drive strong punchy diesel engine. After a test drive with Nexon,Kia Seltos I purchased XUV 300W8D(O) last week.

Creta E (Base variant) has only few pros over Nexon, that are boot space and engine refinement. Rests are cons only. Lots of pros for Nexon. And if you take Nexon XZ+ (S) you dont need to think about after market installation. Safety features (ABS, EBD, BA, ESP, HHC, TCS, Brake disc wiping), Alloy wheel, Automatic Climate control, Touch Screen with Reverse camera, Button Start, Cruise control, 60:40 rear split seat, Electrically retractable ORVM, Rear defogger and Rear Wiper, Sunroof, DRL, Fog lights, FYI I have XZ+ (S) variants and the good thing in Nexon is Spacious cabin, Top notch Ride Quality and Easy handling. :)

I brought tiago xz plus within 200 kms oil leak issue from engine ( zero oil level in dipstick), they are not replacing , they replaced seal without informing and asking me to take the car . Worst service and defective product from TATA.

If you're able to afford Nexon due to it's reliability you can afford maintanence too ... Owning nexon diesel for three yrs .. I don't felt it didn't gives un necessary expenditures .. they're having AMC plans that well planned packs which reduces your service costs.. service center persons helpful in analysing the service cost required and amc plan charges and they makes you favour by activating the plan for that two days service alone..
