This car targets people like me. I just want a nice City car to commute around and do long drives maybe once in 6 months. Nothing to crazy, relaxed driving experience. I think this is a great option and the AMT is more suited for people like me.

hi cyrus. Can you ask tata about bringing IMT like tech in their cars. it is so much better than AMT and even comparable to a manual. I have a 2014 Celerio AMT and recently my TCM unit failed. cost of replacing it is quoted ~80K.i lost all my hope on amt's due to that. I have test driven i20 IMT & i instantly liked the control of gear selection and faster response and even better only the clutch is automated so i could manage the control of car in any sort of faliure ( i got stuck in 5th gear on highway in my car when it failed). also the replacement would be cheaper than AMT. i am asking this because i'm interested in nexon to replace my current car.but i'm worried about the AMT. Thanks.

For me ,the reason for buying punch AMT will be its 'traction pro 'mode ...it will solve most of my rural travel worries, I won't have to spend lakhs more for bolero neo with an MLD.... PD please make a video on this , it will be helpful to many.

I am confused btw tata punch amt and grand i10 nios amt. Punch is more dashing and has good safety but there are a lot of jerks that i felt while driving on the other nios has better engine with no jerks but isn’t safe. Which one should I consider for city driving

Unpopular opinion: I think we've lost the meaning of what an SUV is. We can't go around calling hatchbacks on stilts "SUV's". Yes, they are great cars and for our Indian market. They have absolutely exploded in sales and that says something. But calling them a Micro SUV or any other type of SUV is a little strech when you know underneath it shares the same platform as a hatchback. Great car no doubt, it's just the badge it gets.

Punch is a final nail in the coffin for Tiago NRG.. NRG makes no sense now.. 1 should get either regular Tiago or Punch

Hello , in one day my new tata punch has started giving issue with AMT gearbox. AMT gearbox goes in Neutral mode while driving !!! and in manual mode it is not doing upshift !!! any suggestion what to do ??

A laid back engine for laid back gearbox? What sort of niche customer is looking for this sort of combi - a very lazy one! If you want to cruise slowly lift your foot off the accelerator. I want my car's to be able to haul ass when I mash the pedal. Five star crash test, that I like.

Was mentioning "car enthusiast" at all needed? It's pretty obvious that at this price point and what the car offers, it is more catered towards a family. I understand for middle class most of the times the first car is going to be the only car but then the more footage given towards enunciating that it is not meant for "car enthusiast" would deter even the ones who might think to buy it for daily family uses. I might be wrong but the only reason I am mentioning is because PD is a channel I would always go first to check a car before buying.
