Similar size ignis you can buy it for 5.4 lakhs. It does 0 to 100 speed in just 12.08 sec. And can achieve a top speed of almost 170 km/ hr. Whereas Tiago ev takes 14.72 sec to achieve 100km/ hr speed. And top speed is just 120 km/ hr. So 14.72 sec to reach 100km/hr is dead slow. It doesn't give any spirited driving feel. And the price difference with Ignis is 8 lakhs. For that, you can fill petrol for 12 more years. After 12 years lithium-ion battery charging efficiency decreases by more than 50 %. To replace the battery you will have to spend more than half the amount of actual cost of the vehicle. So vehicle resale becomes scrap value. If you drive the Tiago ev car fast then the mileage you will get a maximum of is180 km in real life. So the advantage you got by fast driving will be wasted in charging time. If you charge at a normal speed it takes 8 hours. Modern highway roads are 4 to 6 lines all over India. Tiago can cruise on such highway max at 80kmph otherwise battery will drain fast and mileage becomes very less in real life.Tiago ev with 120 km/hr top speed will be going like a leech whereas the other petrol hatch of the same size will cruise easily at 120 or even more. For me, this is only good as a second car for city usage. And also When you have a lot of money to experiment. Your discussion saying this car is a performance-oriented, enthusiastic value-for-money car is misleading to the rest of the world. Do a detail study. You need to install 10 different apps to charge your ev depending on which charging station you go to when you travel. Money loaded in these apps can't be refunded to your account. Sometimes you have to detour to find a charging place when you reach there you will find that place is occupied by other ev users for charging. I have seen many of the charging machines won't work most of the time. These are the negative situations you have to go through when you use ev. Ev infrastructure is not ready yet as far as I'm concerned. Battery charging time also needs to be reduced drastically along with a mileage of 800 km at least to become a satisfied ev user without anxiety

Bro, just use an Ignis ☺️ Buy an electric car if and only if you use it regularly. And by the way, within the 8 years, you can break even if used properly. After that, all the kms you drive is a bonus 😁 Just like electric two wheelers. Even if your battery gets replaced after the warranty, since it's LFP, you can use it for atleast 8 years 😉 That's all from my side. I don't want to get in to a debate ☺️

Bro, a comparison should be fair and square. What you did was compare Tiago EV top variant (13L) to second hand Ignis or something. Ignis base variant itself costs 7L 😅 You are only taking in to consideration the size of the vehicle 🤭 You are not considering the running cost, initial acceleration, ride comfort of an EV etc. I have no time to waste arguing with someone who comes up with lame comparisons 😁 Bye

We don't know as the EV resale market is still not born. If you use the vehicle on a regular basis for 7-8 years, you can already save the amount of money you spend ☺️ By the way, diesel vehicles will be history by that time 😅 Pure petrol vehicles will also decline. Hybrid and EVs will rule 😁
