The Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3 are the vanguards for electric propulsion in the country’s hatchback segment. Even though both have very different things going for them, they represent the very first offerings of the same electric hatchback segment, fighting for the same spot effectively.
So today’s video is rather straightforward - drive them until they can’t be driven anymore and see which one has the higher real-world driving range. The range claimed by both the carmakers is eerily close to each other, with just 5 km of range going in favour of the Citroen eC3. This should be a close one!

Tata EVs have a range problem. They need to work on cutting weight or like do efficient battery management. Or mention realistic range.

Being tata tiago ev owner done 10k km in past 6 months i have to open up that 220-200 is round best range to expect for daily office run and local visits daily overall if u drive upto 200 km its really hazzel free experience see ec3 has 30kw battery and tiago is 24kw but as real world experience i think 24 kw is much enough for daily commute things and very occasional long trip if u want ec3 range 30 km of addition not give much for daily use will see tata punch ev will definitely bunk the whole as of now buy ev for only commuting purpose use a second car or taxis for long trip above 500 km for a day

Wait for Punch EV, if you can’t, Tiago is still a better car overall. Realistic range is ~185Kms.

I have done almost 7000 kms on my tata tiago Ev LR driving in hilly terrain only . I get 220-260 kms on my tiago ev depending on road inclination. No problem so far. Only one complain, tata service should improve and focus on EV's only and not mixed with ice cars

Doesn't this test actually show that the true range of e.C3 is way better than that of the Tiago.EV?? Or were the conditions any different for the two? Or were there any other deciding factors??

C3 does have better range due to a bigger battery but the rest of the car is trash. Tata has much better quality, tech, powertrain and ride.

Conditions were identical. The cars were driven together. Yes, the eC3’s real world range is better than the Tiago EVs.

The fact is in city usage tiago ev make much sense for 160km of daily commute 24kw is more than sufficient i own tiago ev 6month now daily office trip updown 80 kms its really serving its purpose very well and really console and drive power and feel is much better than c3 if u find ec3s high stance and comfort is much better means wait untill punch ev comes that will definitely undercut ec3 and even nexon mr version easily

funny video, but this just shows tata's poor range claim . 315 for actual 215km range is very misleading. 47% fake numbers from Tata. Even petrol cars dont pump up this kind of fake numbers.

@@shivaprakash4084 then why dont they test the range with Ac?. India is a hot and humid country, its like they are acting as if indian's dont use Ac. foreign brands test wih AC on and other features on at higher speeds, Why cant they also test with these parameters?
