Best description I’ve ever heard.. nicely put.. that was a huge one for me learning how the tones work with the different grey wash mixes. It’s good practice to just use straight black to try and achieve transitions from light to dark too! Helps with control

what voltage is the best for shadows overall?
@Qinks
@Qinks Жыл бұрын
There is no set voltage that is best for any particular type of work. Every artist works differently so you have to find what works for you. Try playing around the 6.5 to 8.5 area and see what suits you. With time you’ll find what you like best.

Hello, I have a question, if you do black and gray why do you use 100 percent black. For example, the fur structure of a Tieger 75 or 100. I'm sometimes unsure. I think with black and gray almost no 100 percent is used, right? Best regards

Definitely use 100% for the darkest points of a tattoo, i can also achieve dark grey tones with 100% just depends on how much i saturate the area

Is putting all this ink and water etc in the skin really safe for u? Surely it causes some infections no?
@Qinks

It can happen, this is why Artists need to have blood borne pathogen protection training. Most of the time infections come when clients expose their tattoo to unsanitary environments after leaving the shop.
