Tau suit options were a "choice is a myth" situation. The freedom looked good, but then when the "best" option was found everyone just took that. It's a product of the move to "free wargear" that was made this edition.

25:00 If you were talking about the stitches on a suit jacket, my brother and the rest of the groomsmen didn't realize that we were supposed to cut them so about 5 minutes till the ceremony, we were in a pentagon cutting them off.

Not only you can spend 1CP for Torchstar Gambit to drop grenades again, but then you can also use 1CP on Grenade stratagem to drop them again LOL...

Im honestly afraid for tau when the pro players find something to abuse and the retaliation cadre or mont ka gets nerfed and ruined for everyone else. This stuff looks so fun (lack of customization and loss of a weapon mount aside), and i probably won't get to play them until after their inevitable nerfs.

yeah i’m worried about that too. it sucks but it does generate animosity towards the competitive community. most fun stuff last edition and this edition was ruined cuz the competitive players broke soemthing or have to spam a unit

Same here, banter is oke but it's taking away from the game. I often skip pieces of the stream because of the verbal diarrhoea that happens. Now and then it feels like I'm watching a late night show where the guests are playing a board game.
