@yaelz Yes they prefer ranged combat. Normally they would have just leveled that base with artillery. Once they realized no humanoids were inside. But that would be a boring video. 😛

Unfortunately no. The CIS would ROLLER STOMP the Tau. In a short engagement such as depicted, sure, the Tau might take out a few droids, but in prolonged war, and a real battle situation, the Tau just don’t have the capability to defeat the CIS. For one thing, the Tau actually care about how many they lose, the CIS is willing to drop as many droids as it takes to win. Also, despite what we regularly see, the B1-2 and B2 battle droids are stronger, faster, and smarter than they look. B2 battle droids are very easily comparable to tech 2-3 Crysis suits. B3 ultra battle droids are definitely comparable to the best Crysis suits the Tau have to offer, being able to counter multiple MASTER Jedi. Things like Spider Droids are also capable of wiping out entire clone battalions with ease. It’s important to remember with the CIS, they’re depicted as being the dumb bad guys in shows and movies because they’re made for kids. But in the more graphic books, tales of Clones suffering PTSD from seeing all their brothers being wiped out by a single beam of a spider walker is very real, and paints the CIS soulless droids as being as terrifying as they are.

@@Doomerbro99 unlikely, they don’t have the numbers. Some sources say that they have even less numbers than the Tau. While they can technically never die as long as they have a body to transfer to, a death is still permanent for them. And the CIS could reasonably drown an entire tombworld in droids if need be.

False as Fusion Beamers, Nova Cannons, Macro Cannons which are rail guns easily are better then turbo lasers on star Destroyers. Numbers wise it's a joke if we use Cannons Starwars as 25k Star Destroyers vs over a million battle line vessels not including escorts or corvettes from the navy alone. The smallest is over 2k in size.

If you want to use Legends then the 250k Star Destroyers is much better but still far below the Imperium as the numbers I mentioned is the Navy alone not included is the Astartes, Mechanicus, Black Ships, Rogue Traders, Defense forces which is all separate.

The lore actually states this With puny canon assuming 10 ISD=1 imperium capital ship the Imperium would need a force approximately 200 times bigger than the Damacles crusade to defeat star wars in a full blown naval war

@phil3751 the Damacles Gulf Crusade was tiny. The Sabbat Worlds Crusade was thousands of ships, 1 billion sustained Guardsmen as they continued to replace losses and that was a mid sized Crusade so a fleet larger than the one at Corusant during the Clone wars.

@@cinematicnpc Thanks. If I may ask is there a difference between the mods of Call To Arms and Men of War? Both seem to have Warhammer 40k, Star Wars, & Halo mods in them but I can't really tell the differences between them in performance and features. Though the Call to Arms Halo mods seems to have alot more Covenant stuff then the Men of War one.

@@cinematicnpc I didn't know Call To Arms has a Starcraft mod before until now.

I honestly don't know if there are big differences regarding the volume of content on the mods due to the functions of the games. It only depends on the preferences of those who make mods and of course how often there are game updates (something that can affect mods if the games are not complete and are in early access)

@@cinematicnpc Seems like the games mods are pretty well developed. I just saw some Starcraft vs Warhammer 40k battles between Terrain Marines and Space Marines and they are pretty close matches that can go either way. Doesn't seem like anybody has made any Covenant vs Space Marines battles yet though.

Honestly, just standing back and hitting an enemy that doesn't have range up to them would be boring. And related to the lack of some types of Tau units, it is due to an error in the map that causes crashes with certain spawned units.

they aren't the *weakest*, they're just one of the least numerous. They're actually pretty similar to the admech in tech, if not higher in some aspects.

The issue is that the CIS aren't even using all their weapons. There's also a very distinct lack of Firewarrior squads for the Tau.
