Haters can hate and you’ll never change their minds…I have 4 Taurus pistols now and all of them perform flawlessy…two Toro models ( G3 and G3C ) and two regular without the optic option…I have about 800 rounds out of each …aluminum case, steel case , reloads and new….no problems, no hiccups, no failures…nothing…loads JHP’s just fine and always has…with all that said, you will still have the haters…their loss…the full size G3’s are my favorite

Taurus had a ruff start making guns and most people have that in their minds. They have really turned things around. I live in the country and have several name brand pistols. When I have to go out at night to check unusual noises, I grab my G3 Taurus.

I have had the G2, G2c and the G3. G3 is far and away my favorite.

Bought this as my first gun! Didn’t have the budget for anything high end but the store owner did tell me that this gun was one of the best budget pistols you could get for the price. So I ended up getting especially for the fact that it held 17+1! Did not see any other guns there that cheap with that much capacity especially in 9mm. The only others I seen that cheap were 22s. Can’t wait to hit the range. And glad to know I got something reliable. EDIT, gun is awesome! It’s very fun to shoot

I too have one. Super accurate and great gun. Taurus has some nice accessories for it too like custom barrels, slides, extra capacity mags and springs. I have a Glock 17 and a 1911 too. As soon as I test out my new barrel and slide, it will be my EDC.

Just picked one up a PSA for $219.99 plus tax. total $233. 2 mags.17 and 15 round magazines included. The guy behind the gun counter could not believe sale on the website. Great pistol! not just for the money but at any reasonable price. If you pass up a sale on this pistol you're just not thinking. Shoots great and the trigger is better than the G2. You can also upgrade the trigger for about $27 at Galloway Precision.

Unfortunately a thumb safety?? That was the selling point for me , I like the option of the safety in non hostile environments ,, makes my family jewels feel a little safer 😂

Why do people hate in Taurus so much? I just bought a G3 after not knowing whether I wanted a M&P or a higher priced gun with red dot sights etc. I chose this gun because I respect the Taurus brand, and plus i thought about it, and 6-800 dollars to spend on a gun just seemed kinda dumb. I think people only buy certain brands to say"yeah, I have that" . I bought this gun because I don't follow trends. I will buy a more expensive gun later on. I haven't shot this yet since I bought it, I will soon. I love how it fits in my hand though.

A buddy of mine has had his for about 5 months now. It is a pretty cool handgun for what he bought it for. It kept up through out the morning. Very nice handgun from Taurus. Thank you for making these videos.

Badass video man. I just purchased the G3 at a gunshow for $285. Put a little over 200 rounds through it and hasn't given me any problems. Definitely a good purchase.

I recently purchased my first tourist ever. I’ve purchased the Taurus, TH 45 ACP. I got it for $475. This one comes with two magazines that hold 13 rounds. And I have only been able to cycle one complete magazine through it. I have been having a lot of trouble with it, we tore the gun down and oiled it and cleaned it and we are still having a lot of trouble with it. I have since talked with Taurus, and the gun is under warranty being that it’s only three weeks old and I am trying to get a new one completely replaced they are wanting to try to fix it. And even though people tell me not to purchase a Taurus I wanted to judge them on my own merit and I hope I did not have or get buyers remorse. So please wish me luck and hope everything comes out OK.

Trigger pull seems a little different depending on weather you rack the slide or not, think you will measure a bit lighter if slide is racked. I'm just going by feel.

G3TORO is a nice weapon shoots and feels awesome. I like the trigger safety and thumb safety.

I have a G3 and love it,cheep and works feels great in hand.wish I had the Glock sights on mine,but think I’m gonna get the TORO slide.

Great video. I am looking at one.. I also noticed in the comments someone said that it shoots Hollow points ok.. That's important to me as I want to use good defense ammo.. I also looked it up and you can buy the pyramid sights for it which are great sights if you've not tried them.. I was originally going to get a glock 48, but why spend the extra money? With the savings I can get some ammo and a good holster and maybe a light.. Thanks again. Great vid.. Tim

I have this Taurus g3 in matte black. It’s brand new I haven’t put no rounds through it yet but I’m planning on putting 200 rounds through it. I have seen nothing but positive reviews on this gun.

Im about to buy a G3 because I've seen nothing but great reviews, I was leaning towards the CZ P10c because ive owned acouple CZs & loved them, but after watching all the reviews & being able to get the G3 w/2 17 rd mags for $256. I think I'll be happier than w/the P10c only coming w/1 15rd mag for $331. But the other one I was considering was the tisas Zigana PX9 tactical w/a 20rd & a 18rd mag & threaded barrel for $325 because I'm not real big on the standard PX9 even though the price tag is only $226. W/2 18rd mags. Any suggestions? Im pretty sure im gonna go with the G3 though... Thanks & great video bro...

The G3 is the same size as the Glock 19. It is slightly smaller than the full-size TH9, which i also like because of the decocker.

Got it for $246 before taxes highly recommended highy reliable about 500rd not one problem.

Do you know if the handle on the G3 is longer than the handle on the G2C?? I like getting that pinky finger all the way on the handle and on my G2C it's cutting it pretty close. i have a th9c. i just cant seem to make good hits with it, i even changed out the sights to some made by lakeline. theyre good sights but still hit in the same area i was before. im guessing i just dont work with this gun or there are some tolerances off with the slide. With that said, im considering moving along to a g series pistol. I have shot a g3c and did a lot better with that than my th9c. Im wondering if maybe ill do even better with the slightly larger g3. My question is, how much bigger is the g3 than the g3c and if possible how big is the g3 compared to the th9c? Thanks🤙

I have 2 of these and they work and never have any issues . Why are u people so scared of a thumb safety ?? . I like having one and it has helped me once .

I realize this is a very late comment, but I've always wondered what the point of a trigger safety was.... It looks like any time the trigger might actually be accidentally tripped the safety would be, too. If anybody wants to set me straight I'd really appreciate it...
