Finally! The Taurus tx22 compact is here! It's sweet! I'm a huge fan of the original tx22 and I cannot wait to get this one to the range. The tx22 compact is a 13+1 22lr pistol from Taurus.

The competition took me about 10rnd to fall in love. Bought it and a G44 at same time. Taurus feels like twice the gun. We all have them now. Brother just got the compact last week to try out.

@DirtbagOutdoors you will not be disappointed I promise. The gun may or may not be able to shoot with ones like my brothers custom Victorys and the like. But it for sure shoots better than I ever will.He only has a few higher $$$ pistols that I can shoot better than my junk. Mine just has a burris fast fire 3. I went crazy at tandemkross but havent shot it since I changed it all up

Can you leave the threaded barrel adapter on with loctite and still field strip the gun for cleaning?

My family members got two of the competition models. I was real leary, not a big taurus person but honestly they were pretty decent. Ran good and shot solid for the style of pistol and cheap ammo. A few malfunctions but like I said cheap federal bulk ammo. Trigger is dog shit though by my standards, not the worst but definitely not great. However I domt expect the trigger in this style of pistol to be amazing. I suppose its kind of unfair to be comparing it to 1911 triggers and ruger mk. IV triggers but. There is a trigger kit for them already and is less than 100 bucks so that's something to look at.

You can get one of these for like 250-300 what do you mean poor? It doesn’t get much cheaper than that… sub 200 would be getting you some little hi point at that point.

come on man you don't dry fire a rim fire gun now open it up and look at the side of the chamber your just jamming the firing pin right into the very edge of it

Lol most modern rimfire handguns are 100% safe to dry fire. Even says in the manuals.

The sig p322 was designed to be dry fired !
