6 жыл бұрынTAVR is a new minimally invasive surgical option for those who have aortic stenosis, or a narrowing of the aortic valve opening. Instead of performing open heart surgery, the surgeons at Tufts Medical Center can now replace a heart valve while the heart is still beating. The procedure itself takes about 2 hours and patients are typically discharged within 2 day.
