Wow. Finding these is so intense and so cathartic. You were so here. You were so alive. Wherever you are now, outside of space and time, I hope you can feel how deeply your words still affect me and others, Tawny. As a cancer survivor who was in an abusive relationship while going through it, I agree that there are definitely some things in life we don't need to be grateful for-because they made us who we are. Some things shouldn't have happened, but they give you super powers anyway.
@avalondreaming14333 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with what she's saying. Not everything you go through in life makes you a stronger, better person. Not everything happens for a reason. Many traumatic life events leave deep and lasting scars. RIP Tawny.

Yes but people who are resilient and who learn good coping skills come out on top. Nobody gets out of here alive and nobody gets out of here unscathed. Every single person on this planet has been knocked on their ass, most of us get up and keep going. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball ball team & look what he accomplished.

@@lisamarielund6292 It's not often a matter of will. Alot of it comes down to genetics. Some people are born with a mental illness, some with a gene for alcoholism or autism. It doesn't mean we don't fight and try and help ourselves, but we are not all created equal
@thesummerland61653 жыл бұрын
@@avalondreaming1433 agree, no one is saying to not be self-responsible and fight through their challenges, no matter what they may be, but there's definitely not a level playing field...some people have many traumas and survive, and even become more compassionate people....others don't, some have many traumas in childhood out of their control and leave lasting damage, illnesses, etc...then there's other people who have all the advantages, great childhoods, are given a lot of support and etc but are less resilient or don't try, or turn out narcissists, bullies, etc.....everyone's situation is individual and all individuals are different
@lisamarielund62923 жыл бұрын
Well yeah but addicts cause all of their own problems. What man wants a druggie for a wife? She hit Chuck Finley with her shoe when he told her he wanted a divorce. It’s all true. She’s lucky she didn’t hit OJ with her shoe because he probably would have killed her.
@lisamarielund62923 жыл бұрын
@@avalondreaming1433 No, is not all equal, who ever said life is fair anyway? Some people have a genetic predisposition to gain weight. Some people may or may not be predisposed to drug and alcohol addiction. If they are it’s up to them to diet and exercise or to stay away from drugs and alcohol. I have people like her in my family and it only made me determined to NOT be like them. We all have a free will. People with drug problems like her just want to escape, they don’t want to face their problems and they don’t want to face reality. You can’t just close your eyes and hope that things will “work themselves out”.

@@thesummerland6165 Truth. She was still stuck in the denial phase of her addictions,”recovery”. I would not be surprised in the least if she died of a drug overdose. Owning up to your past behavior is a huge part of recovery and yet she was still not there. Too bad she couldn’t kick it in the butt and move on with her life. Hey Mrs. Kitaen! I hope your day gets better dear Lady! Depression is a difficult thing to deal with, especially if you don't have someone to discuss it with who has been there. I went through it myself twice when my first wife left me for a richer man & took our 2 yr old daughter with her. I paid child support for 21 years & saw her a total of 58 days over that 21 yr period. The Judge refused to enforce my right to see my child, but if I fell behind more that $50, I had a warrant for my arrest. My second wife left cause i was 8 yrs older & she felt like she had one foot in the grave & the other tied to a baby crib. No child support enforced on her, so I paid support on one child I never got to see that I wanted to, & supported myself & my son with zero help so I know a bit about depression. As far as trading the 10% bad off, I understand, but without it, who knows if you would appreciate the 90% you have as much. Sometimes ya gotta smell the bullshit to appreciate the roses! Been my experience anyhow. Anyway, makeup & hair look fabulous today, even more so than usual. Hope things get better for ya Darlin. If wanna talk to a complete stranger that will be straight up honest with you. I'm here without a hidden agenda, just wanna see that beautiful smile. love & happy thoughts, Kenny McGuire.

I also do not subscribe to being thankful of 100% the death, the crap and lies that I have lived through. Good for Tawny that her husband, father of her children, believed her and continued to help her pay her bills and he took care of his children. I sure wish this beautiful woman was still here to tell us more, to open up to us more, to let us in. RIP Tawny

omg - why I have only now found Tawny again, after first seeing and admiring her more than 30 years ago, I can't think about - but I am a current fan of her and agree with her 100 - there is so much crap that there is no lesson in - only pain and difficulty for nothing... everything I've seen with Tawny over the past two days, shows her decency, strength, honesty and beauty... beautiful, beautiful human being - she has the energy that this world needs - if only we had her here for more than 59 years... and I'll take that 80 percent - 20 percent isn't anything to be grateful for because there was nothing in it but pain and difficulty...

I soooooo understand what you are talking about in respect to suffering from depression and that some of the sh!t we go through made it worse, I agree. But....we need to see the bad and even the worst as teaching experiences. It sounds crazy but it does help us grow when we realize that those experiences are pages in our book of life that we can access and learn from and teach others. I've sufferd from depression since forever but didn't get diagnosed with it till my late 20s. Money and material things never make people like us happy because what we want and need is true unconditionally soul moving, heart jumping, true love from ourselves to ourselves. And as someone suffering from depression and being treated for it I shock myself when I realize and say these things because they are all true. But yea, I also wanna give back those really bad experiences but I realize that without them I wouldn't be the better me I am now and the best me yet to come. YOU SHINE MS. TAWNY KITAEN. It is sad that 17 years after the incident with Finley the anger she feels about what happened to her reputation is still palpable. But she might have been able to move past it had she kept her head down & her nose clean. But like a lot of people on that slippery slope of losing their fame, she did everything to try to reclaim it: those terrible reality shows, drugs, & ruined her looks through unnecessary & terrible cosmetic procedures to get it back. But her fame might have faded anyway just because time was moving on, the 80's were over & sometimes that is just what happens. It is an absolute shame but at least she & Finley stayed a family for their girls so she had that peace in her life. But clearly her ego & her belief she knew everything even at the age of 40 after everything that had happened to her did not help her (she admitted to that in a prior video).. It just makes me sad to see someone we perceive as having the perfect life is really someone who cannot move on to the next chapter because they will not let go of the past. I hope she found peace & I pray her ex & their girls find it during this sad time as well.

You know for someone who said under my comment that you miss her, you really have been a total bitch here. Was any of that necessary? Really. I’d remove that because it’s just nasty. Why do you miss her? Need to find someone else to be nasty about now?
@lisamarielund62923 жыл бұрын
I think that success came very early and easily to her. She modeled, then she sort of just fell into doing Whitesnake videos & then Bachelor Party. She was famous had some bucks, life was fun, she partied, she was young & pretty, she married a rocker then married a baseball star. Did she ever really have to struggle in Hollywood? Flash forward to too many drugs, a couple of DUI’s, an arrest for attacking Chuck Finley & for keying somebody’s car, she did some jail time then divorce. Meanwhile she aged out of the “hot chick video vixen” role. She was staring 60 down, her kids were grown and gone she had no husband and Chuck Finley was paying her rent. What if he didn’t, would she have been homeless? She desperately need a Plan B but rich 60 year old dudes are looking for 20-somethings, not 60 year olds. She did have some bad plastic surgery & it’s very obvious in these videos that she was still using. It’s too bad that she couldn’t straighten herself out and start a cupcake business, a flower shop, an interior design business. Maybe she could have even taught pole dancing or other dance classes. I’m sure Finely would have helped her to get a business off the ground that would have provided her with an income. It’s very sad how she ended up. Ladies, always make sure you have marketable skills so that you can support yourself!

I totally agree with you! I completely understand! I also know about depression and it ain't nothing to play with. So many people just don't get it until they live it. Anyway, just wanted to say that you're doing an Awesome job with your channel. Keep up the good work. And I'm so glad you got a stripper pole. I am wanting one so bad. It's such a great way to workout. It takes tremendous upper body strength. It's great for you. So do it for you girl! You're beautiful and you got this!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

I had depression for years and didnt realize it either. I use to self medicate everytime i would start to feel down. I am former Army and if it wasnt for the VA i probably would of never known.

I have only recently found these videos she made. She comes across as very genuine and likable Praying for her loved ones. I know she was Jewish but praying her children know Jesus Christ as our Savior and find comfort in Him.
