I think you have to offset 15 lac loss with 60 loss profit, and not with 18 lac taxable amount. So you will have to pay tax on 45 lac rs, which is 13.5 lakh, and not only 3 lac.

Answer-In India, the government does not pay tax on profits from buying and selling shares. Tax laws apply to individuals and businesses, not to government entities. (I used chatgpt for answers.) So, think Now, Why do Governments have all the benefits? Even if the government pays its taxes, it will only go into its pockets.

I was trading in F&O for quite sometime, after not getting profitable I started to buy 16 lots and even 32 lots at ones (my mistake) so now I'm at a loss of 45k . Now my question is ...am I on the 2 crore+ turnover side? If yes, then do I have pay 30% tax on it?

2 Crore + and 30% tax are different topics. Check your turnover for the FY. And right now you'd pay tax as per your current slab. You would pay 30% tax on income earned after 1 April 2025.
