Accurate to within an eighth of an ounce, the Digital Measuring Cup and Scale can easily switch between six different units of measurements. With only three buttons, it's easy to operate, but still incredibly powerful. Use the tare function to weigh multiple ingredients without ever emptying the cup. Switch between flour, sugar, milk, water, and oil modes and the Digital Measuring Cup and Scale automatically converts the weight to volume.

This scale measures pounds and grams in addition to ounces, fluid ounces, and milliliters. Simply press the "unit button" to switch the display between the different units of measurement. It does not display tenths of an ounce, but rather in 1/8th ounce increments.

I'm genuinely happy about Vat19. It's the fact they take it so light heartedly normally. If I decided to turn off adblock plus, it would probably be for ads from Vat19. Seriously, Genuine humor tends to come more from these guys, and they (For me) make it actually interesting to watch. So really, great job. I've actually been watching a lot of videos, interested in what Vat19 says. Why don't we have more vat19 commercials?

@chidoche88 You can use a sponge or wet paper towel, but you do not want to completely submerge the Measuring Cup.

@blahblahhai I'm really more into the whole brevity thing. I do a fair amount of cooking, and I have to say that I have rarely ever needed to heat up the contents of a measuring cup. In baking, you would almost never need to do this.

It will last you quite a long time, thanks to the auto shut-off feature which preserves the battery. But, once it runs out, it is easily replaceable. It's a common battery that can be found at electronic stores and grocery stores.

Well, we sell a new one now (the post you're responding to is 5 months old), but the old ones aren't being made anymore. This of course isn't to say that there might be some retailers out there with leftover stock.

Yes, it has an on/off button. It will also automatically shut off after 5 minutes of inactivity. Many recipes use fractions of ounces and that is why the manufacturer chose to display in 1/8 increments. However, this wouldn't be handy for your particular case in which they use 10ths of an ounce. Sorry!
