the good thing about being old is my edc has been the same for 20 years. a spyderco military in a maxpedition micro pouch which is my wallet. i had a sebenza but military fits my hand better and is much lighter. i use it a lot in fine restaurants because their knives are dull. i quietly open it up and lay it on my plate and no one has ever really noticed. my fixed blade is a 25 year old busse badger attack with a 4.5 inch blade. i ordered it from jerry and he said if you ever break it he’ll make me a new one but there’s no way you can break it. i carry a glock 19 because it just works and is accurate out to a hundred. also if i drop it on a bunch of rocks who cares. i have a nice rolex two tone blue which i replaced with a used fortis flieger. i now have a sinn 856 that gets no attention. it’s no fun wearing a rolex in a car dealer or jewelry store as the leg bumpers come out in droves.

A boot/knife pairing. Boots are priced like knives. I can collect “redwings” but it’s not cost effective to collect (whites/nicks) would be like collecting shiros and reeves

Now that I watched this, I ask me well, my collection did I've gone to far too? Need to think about that. On the other hand there are several things that been collected like letter stamps for example wich are nothing to use but just to look at them and have them. I think for me it's kind of same with edc + I can use it and choose what pocket jewelry I want to wear like an outfit kind of. Anyway awesome video and 2 very sympathic dudes here. Wish you both a good one thank you for sharing 🙂

You had mentioned your f100, I know it’s not clothing related but l love old American made cars and trucks and I’d love to see a video showing off your truck. I’m a ford guy, I had a 66 mustang back in the early 90’s and and 49 mercury in the early 2000’s and my next one I’d like to get in the next maybe 10’years is a 59 ford f100.

Not really talking down the community, but more illustrating the danger in becoming too engrossed with an item in and of itself. The people there have (generally) been great, but the bigger picture is easily missed as Taylor and I both have fallen victim to.
