also, she said each scene represents fame and its journey. i feel like the witch scene is definately her rep era. where she was "the witch" (that people wants to burn). and how she went down that well. but the invisible golden string was there ALL ALONG tieing them together. from the very start they were meant to be but she went off and became super famous. she was in that cage. the spotlight was on her. went through all her journys from fearless - rep to lover bascially. she comes together with this guy the same way she did with her man in lover. where she was also under a forte with.

I disagree about folklore, I think it is my favorite of her records. I also think that a lot of her music gets written really fast so I don’t think that taking longer would have really changed it. I mean, we don’t have to agree but I think that changing the timing wouldn’t have changed anything hopefully since the record is so good.

Same I loved that he’s East /southeast Asian! It’s nice to see people of different ethnic backgrounds being showed that they’re deserving of love in these sweet songs, I don’t think they exists much.
