Do you recommend the block periodization should combine FTP workout and VO2max workout, or just pure VO2max

both would be good IMO...I never train just one system at a time anymore, IMO that's a bit antiquated. GOod luck with the training!

@@EVOQBIKE I don't have the time to check, no pun intended!, but on a few occasions your guest mentions doing things in return for a "time bean".... wasn't sure if this is some kind of metaphor for getting faster?

He is using an expression, "for the time being" which means something like, 'for right now' .
