Hey Taylor, the reason those harness plugs on the transmission are so “melty” as you say in the video is because they come from the factory with hot melt wax in those connectors. Use a heat gun on them and wedge them in while they cool.

The transmission connectors have an adhesive glue from the factory on them that usually you heat them up with a heat gun or mini torch to get them to go back in all the way. Good work!

I know the pain of that low crossmember. Thirty years ago I had one on 20's static dropped on the ground. I got high centered on the trans crossmember twice pulling out of a drive thru onto the street. Both times it had to be drug out onto the street. I had a custom crossmember built and then it just kinda slid over stuff instead of hanging up.

Last post I swear: the 2 transmission plugs are hot glued from the factory, so they need to be replaced or heated to fully seat. Also looks like your alternator isn't charging over 4500. Might need a better regulator and/or an oversized pulley. If I'm reading your cluster right, you also don't have the fuel regulator set for boost reference.

About the ethanol percentage: it has nearly the same effective octane (for port fuel + turbo) at 30% as it does at 80%. 40% will still make more power than C16. So don't pull timing out linearly, just slightly down to 30% and then drastically down to 0%. Fuel obviously is a linear change.

The only thing I'd add to that mount is a trangle vertical place in the middle of that mount to the transmission itself. Under load, that will flex, and will eventually fatigue the bend in that plate, and snap it. Esp. from hard launching.
