She must've been so happy to perform in front of a crowd after being locked away during the couple of years of Covid. This was before the Eras Tour started, so she hadn't played for a crowd in ages. She looks like she's thrilled to be there, and what a performance! Love the acoustic version of Antihero.

They had an emotional connection that played out in fantasy for so long...and then, the reality apparently sucked. But she needed to find that out in order to go forward and find real happiness. I can't even IMAGINE being there and having this happen. If I remember correctly, I think it was in the depths of the Era Ticketmaster fiasco when everyone was trying to get tickets to see her, and then to have her just saunter on the 1975 stage. I'd lose it!

Thank you for this phenomenal edit/compilation! The time and dedication shine through and allowed me to feel immersed/lost in her surprise performance. I believe the footage added on at the end of this video where MH and TS are talking is from her 1989 album Era (2014-ish). I can tell by her hair, makeup, and shes really thin. And MH looks really young.

@@JenJac69 right? I found a timeline on Tumblr and it's like every time they ever interacted since 2014 and I was shocked! I had no idea. (I wasn't a fan until THIS year). He kept calling her "Obama". He was terrified of that level of fame and attention. I just can't stop thinking about how she alludes to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in "Burton to this Taylor" lyric and had an Instagram story of her with the book on their life. (those actors played in the movie Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and they're a married couple that argue the whole time and drink 🍷) now I'm seeing all the connections. He apparently was going to be on the song Sl*t! from the 1989 vault. There's an interview where he mentions reaching out to her to be in a music video but she wasn't. They apparently had worked together on Midnights. ... they were like designed to be this amazing legendary musical couple, making an album together, playing together on stage. instead we now have a breakup album about them. (I've heard Halsey has an album about him too). absolutely wild ...
