My father is an immigrant from Portugal. He came over when he was a child after his parents had already come over. They had to prove that they would not be a burden on the citizens by having skills needed at the time. In my grandfathers case it was his skills as a stone mason, for my grandmother is was her skills a caterer. They came over legally, through the proper channels. I have NO issue at all with immigration. As long as its legal. The way that the current administration is handling and incentivizing illegal immigration is just a giant slap of disrespect to All the Legal immigrants that did what they were supposed to do to be here. I don't think any American would feel that immigration should be completely stopped. But this open border policy to just disrespect on a massive scale.

There’s a difference between illegal and legal immigration. Whether be Trump Biden, or whoever else that their job is to protect the sovereignty of their nation, it is very important that we make immigration for all who wish to come to this country that go through the process of doing it legally, that way, we vet out that actors and those that come will respect the nation and population control over being taken over very important. We love immigration we dislike illegal sometimes the media tries to confuse people about this factor.

He has a video of immigrants crossing over the Southern Border and I believe it was El Paso,TX and he talked to them back in 2023 .In a interview a man was standing with a child and he asked him" what does it cost to cross over the border " he said 4,000 and he said what about your child with you? The guy said 3,500 for a child but this is not my child. JRL said "well whos is it? The immigrant replied " I don't know , He don't have parent's .Someone paid to get him across and hes walking with the rest of us. The child had to of been 5= 6 years old..with no adult . So I ask Joe Biden today..Where is that child? Who did he go with? Joe open the gates of America and let in all the other countries prisoners. Just 2 weeks ago five ISIS members were arrested in our country. I want my America back.

I'm glad to see other Americans exposing themselves to more information, whether they believe it or not, to consider other points of view. That said, the only thing I have to complain about is their comments about presentation. Facts don't care about people's feelings and if you don't get the full, hard facts, then you aren't getting the full truth. I understand that a lot of our current society is swayed by emotion but to ignore the truth because you don't like how it was said is just being ignorant. But, their complaints are fair ones. Everyone has a right to not like something in their own right

Yes, they are not just coming form Mexico, and they are not what big companies are mad at its cheap labor on work or schooling passes. The border is just how you can show any progress on slowing it down. The drug crisis is more in America with "Opioids" (Oxycodone) or (Fentanyl) which is a thing they doctor cut them off so they find it anyway they can with an synthetic to stop chronic severe pain.

I have always viewed the border situation like our homes. I wouldn't open my door and just let anyone and everyone come into my home and live. I would want to find out who that person is, and why they wanted to come into my home. Because I know it would be foolish to just allow anyone and everyone into my home, knowing that there are many who would harm myself and my family. That is very stupid and irresponsible. Its the same way with walls. There are gated neighborhoods that has some form of wall around the neighborhood. They do this so that they can monitor who comes in and out of the neighborhood, to make sure that those within that neighborhood can live their lives as safe as possible. If protecting those whom are in my house (and neighborhoods) is so important, how much MORE important it is for this whole country?
