my tb48 makes 700hp. valve springs and valves, head studs, pistons, conecting rods, gtx42 turbo, 66mm wasgate, stage 4 cams, oil pump and motec m600 ecu. got a mate in the UAE that helped me out heaps

I believe that nobuteru taniguchi has test drive tb48 HKS at 800 hp, he test on fuji speedway and the tires smoking after 1 lap

couldnt imagine the fuel consumption on this, the aspirated tb48 was bad enough as it is though the torque curve would be insane.

yeah the stock one consume 130 liters of fuel in 450 kms , and u baby it through the rpm it maybe maaaybe get u 600km of range , at 400 hp to that and I guess 130 liters range would be in the 200kms range GOD DAAAAAAAAAAAAAUM.

@@leonex606 not really the tb48 likes the spiny boy the bigger the better fuel economy, I tried a precision 7675 gt42 the car was sweet on the other hand I tried garret gtw3884r fuel economy didn’t change from stock mainly because the car was on boost most of the time because of the gear ratio 5th gear at 140km/h rpm is 3500 all you need is give it some throttle and you are already at full boost 😅

Who gives a shit about a few extra dollars in fuel when you own a sick beast like a tb48 turbo , petrol is cheaper than diesel most of the time anyway , there are some jealous people on the comments here , go the tb48

It's sad that you don't get the 2012+ GU (Y61) shorty with the TB48 as we get here, or any shorty in that matter. It would've been great to see some more aftermarket stuff for my 2016 little beast like fender flares which is different than the LWB model for the rear ones.

Probably between 1-2 kpl on this thing. Becomes liters/min when you approach 800kw. But Glorious nonetheless. Would convert 50Ha of Corn to feed Ethanol in this thing.

I'll stick with my TD42 with my 12mm pump thanks, it goes anywhere and is great on fuel (13L/100kms) this thing would drink crazy amounts of fuel, I can only imagine it on sand....eeeeekkkkk, it would be too much for my liking.

LOL, let me know when you have a caravan or trailer on the back, I know exactly how much they suck down. Great engine, but they don't do well for towing.

@@SuperLux1991 Can't handle the heat? No, people don't know how to tune diesels. Mine never got hot and I was still running stock fan and rad. TB48's are written up at 80l/100km for sand work, now that is juts ridiculous. As for the Toyota V8 that Dan has stated above, my mates one gets 35L/100kms towing his caravan, now that is terrible, I am at 18-20L/100 towing the same caravan.

@@SuperLux1991 mate i lived in the territory for ten years and my td42 handled the heat fine. Not sure were you're getting that from. It's a cast iron motor it's going to handle it better than any alloy head rubbish.

stock Patrol 4.8 VTC consum in city about 27L % and shes equiped with 2 fuel tank 90L+70L= 160L some say they called patrol because she loves drinks petrol hahah

They are legal if they are ADR approved. The TMR minor modification document lists the requirements. "Composite Wheels The use of composite wheels (two or three-piece) is permitted. They must be manufactured and marked in accordance with the standards described above if fitted to vehicles manufactured on or after 1 July 1985."

Jason is clearly I man that has never seen what these engines can do, and reliably at that. In UAE, they go crazy over these engines for sand drags. There are videos of these patrols destroying the likes of Lamborghinis. There’s plenty of patrols going 300km/h powered by these engines. I’ll stick to my TD42 tractor but. These are undoubtedly a powerful engine.
