All 3 of them ended up with women similar to their mothers. Little wonder the wives & mother's in law got along very well. Penny & Beverly Hofstadter are both physically attractive & apathetic women from whom Leonard feels the need to win approval. Bernadette & Howard's mom are quite coddling women. Amy & Mary cooper are both indulgent & can be quite manipulative.

She didn't mean to, but she hurt him so badly. I'm an emotional type too and If it took all my courage and length of time to admit that to a person, only to have the other person act as Penny did here, I'd be deeply hurt too. But despite my pain, I wouldn't act as Leonard did in the "break-up" episode. Penny wasn't obligated to say "I love you" back, just cuz Leonard did.

Can I recommend something to you that I think you’ll like? In said recommendation, Penny ACTUALLY loves Leonard su like in the show, and Leonard becomes a bette roerían than in the show. He does something that makes a an important impact on her life, that makes her love him even MORE.
