It’s always great to brief every takeoff and Approach to every airport

DISAPPOINTING… KZfaq falsely flagged our music 10:30-11:45 only after we were live, so we were forced to edit within YT Studio and this is as good as it could get. Everything licensed with Artlist and linked to our account. So, the turnaround in TEX audio little choppy for my taste.

Great takeoff brief. Especially the big note about how you're not going to do the impossible turn.

@@LookingforHigher I wish! Closest i get is skydiving over in san marcos and the occasional flightsimming. Awesome TBM btw. The 850s are so damn cool. Used to watch TBM910Guy fly out of Austin a lot. Keep the content coming, please!

Another great video Jesse. I live 4 miles south of 5C1 off I10, and every once in a while, I will catch a glimpse of 236EA!

At 22:50 you are discussing the thunderstorm in front of you. You believed that you would be in the clouds and switched to onboard radar. Did you enter the clouds or go around them? If you entered, how was the ride and did you engage the inertial separator? What do you typically find ride wise in the clouds at that altitude?
@LookingforHigher5 ай бұрын
I went imc but thanks to the radar, didn’t get close to the storm. If it’s much colder than -20 C then, I do not initial engage the inertial separator. Usually, I won’t see ice that cold. If even salt-like ice crystals form, I’d turn it on. It was a smooth ride through.

Nice flight, but you still should have picked me up along the way!!🤪

Remind me where you’re based, Ron?
@Parr4theCourse5 ай бұрын
@@LookingforHigher We’re “based” out of KAAO, but if you’re ever in the area 1K1 is great place to meet up and they have great food as well…when we take folks up for their first flight we take the short (5nm) flight to 1K1 from KAAO as it an easy place to meet up…..we recently took a high school senior up to announce her acceptance into the Air Force Academy on our channel…
