When I started watching your videos as a student pilot, I remember thinking how difficult yet exciting instrument flying seemed and wondered if I could ever do that. I just got my IR last Monday. Thanks for the motivation.

I'm 4 hours into my ppl training and my instructor gave me the hood for about 10 minutes last lesson. Super disorienting at first but I look forward to perfecting that skill

@ Ayeee man congrats, you still got a bit to go but you will get there. Study hard, don’t slack off, and most importantly have fun while doing it. That’s the best advice I can give you.

I spent 10 weeks in northern Germany in the dead of winter. It was dark until 9 am, dark grey overcast during the day, dark again at 4 pm. I never once saw the sun the entire time. When I flew out of Hamburg we broke through the clouds at 6000 feet and into pure sunshine. It was a religious experience

Albany! My wife did her medical residency there at Phoebe back in 2012 before graduating and taking her first doctor job in Kissimmee. Now anytime we fly up to Illinois or Indiana for vacation in my plane we stop in Albany for food and such, great crew and free cars:) Love it!

I have a good job. I really cannot complain or envy anyone for I am extremely lucky... That being said, being a pilot is really something else. Sitting in a cockpit watching clouds for a living is the best job out there.

She (ATC) sounded like a trainee. After 36 years at Washington Center as a Controller, I can smell ‘developmentals’ a mile away! Instructor would have caught it. But we do let them make mistakes. I love your videos!

I call Shenanigans! KABY has been ILS RWY 5 for over a year, and the ABY controller (MC) has been at ECP for a couple years. Throwback episode?

I agree. According to airnav website the chart shows 4/22 but does state may not be up to date but the runway info on the page reads 5/23 with a length of 6600. FR 24 also reads 5/23 with a cross runway 17/35. Thought maybe the runway heading was changed after Steveo made this flight. His flight vlogs are usually a month or so behind

crab angle ..I got it. a crab walks some what sideways. so a plane flying straight taking a sideways stance due to the wind...learned something new today

The FBO there at KTLH is really nice. Flew there from Atlanta a few times during my commercial time building phase. Always loved the Starbucks coffee machine they have there and the staff are super friendly. Last time I was there I ran into some F-16 pilots who were there to do the flyover for a FSU game. Super cool times!

Enjoyed riding along and getting play by play functions of the airplane. I don't have my license, but have spent enough time in a 152 to take off on a calm day and point the plane in any direction. Been too long since I've been up! Life happens....

Another outstanding video! I ALWAYS pickup something educational in watching your videos. I especially find the repetition you use in the startup sequence in every video extremely insightful for understanding the cadence in repetitiveness of operational procedure. Thought it was cool how you provided an ATIS information overview for those unfamiliar. I'd love to hear more about your approach setup (speeds when intercepting localizer, first set of flaps, gear, full flaps)? Really enjoyed this one. I had my private pilot test in a C152 at TLH many , many years ago. Your takeoff reminded me of having to do touch and go from 18 in a crosswind.

nice flight , Stevo I'm sure IFR is nice in that TBM, mine was hell in a C-172 but it did show me I was not up to the task. you remind me of my instructors they made it look easy. 👍😜

I had to laugh at how casually you handle winds, crabbing etc, that's a lot of training! I've never seen you make a bad landing although I suppose it has happened on occasion:) Cheers, Rik Spector
