This visualization is the sixth of a series depicting various OPFOR tasks for the Virtual OPFOR
Academy. This visualization depicts an OPFOR guerrilla detachment executing a reconnaissance attack mission against a BLUFOR unit.
This module is designed for company level units assigned an OPFOR mission during home station training. By the end of this module you should have an appreciation for the subtask execution of a reconnaissance attack mission.
The BLUFOR representation is only to provide context to OPFOR actions, and is not intended to represent current BLUFOR TTPs.

I love these videos, OEC G&V please make more! i tried finding the page on facebook (used link on the channel page) but the facebook page gave an error saying the page does not exist anymore as I read the comments I've seen how much these videos help current members of the military and ones panning on joining (like me) and would just like to say thank you for creating the videos they're informative and instructive to anyone even those without any military knowledge just like for you guys to know you're work is incredibly appreciated and to please make more! Videos like this in an age of technology where anyone can access them, videos like this are extremely helpful and important for the public and a great refresher for any in service member! (sorry for spamming this on all your videos just want to make sure you guys know you're doing an incredibly important public service! and that its appreciated)

So basically a reconnaissance mission followed by a deliberate attack?

It's not just that buddy, before their deliberate attack they gotta isolate their main target from the target's friends so the target is helpless(they isolate their friends by pinning them down) and watching roads/bridges leading to where their target is so they can ambush any of the target's friends moving to help them, before they attack the main target

Baku Laku it's ARMA 2. A game. I play regularly. The question is what is the purpose? Who is being educated? Gamers. Real life military units? Insurgents? Because the last one is scary.

hba8103 the US military and many militaries around the world use it for training. I didn’t realize this was Arma 2 but I know the US military uses video simulations like this for real life training. I should know I had used it for training years ago when I was enlisted.

Baku Laku yeah Bohemia Interactives main business is selling these simulators to the military. You should check out their home page. I’m just surprised at the level of detail in terms of operations in this simulation m made available to the public. Especially organization of each unit.
