Virtual OPFOR Academy Task 2 - Ambush

This visualization is the second of a series depicting various OPFOR tasks for the Virtual OPFOR Academy. This visualization depicts an OPFOR guerrilla hunter-killer group conducting an ambush on a BLUFOR logistics convoy.
This module is designed for company level units assigned an OPFOR mission during home station training. By the end of this module you should have an appreciation for the subtask synchronization of an ambush at the Company Detachment level.
The BLUFOR representation is only to provide context to OPFOR actions, and is not intended to represent current BLUFOR TTPs.

Your plans don't take into account the enemy reaction or maybe having better foresight or Intel. Always plan for a disadvantage.

I love these videos, OEC G&V please make more! i tried finding the page on facebook (used link on the channel page) but the facebook page gave an error saying the page does not exist anymore as I read the comments I've seen how much these videos help current members of the military and ones panning on joining (like me) and would just like to say thank you for creating the videos they're informative and instructive to anyone even those without any military knowledge just like for you guys to know you're work is incredibly appreciated and to please make more! Videos like this in an age of technology where anyone can access them, videos like this are extremely helpful and important for the public and a great refresher for any in service member! (sorry for spamming this on all your videos just want to make sure you guys know you're doing an incredibly important public service! and that its appreciated)

If you are ambushed in accordance with the field manuals of the United States Army, you must go on a breakthrough without stopping.

VBS allows for firing of RPG-7 and RPG-18 weapons from the prone position is that correct?

SOP / TTP for Blufor would be ...the doctrine that the US military teaches so outside the purview of this TRADOC directorate.

Does anyone know where I can get those “enabling elements” and “hunter killer/security force” element symbols? Also their meanings and purposes,because I literally don’t know what all of them are, except for the hunter killer and security elements, but please if anyone could provide them, reply to this comment

Probably so as to develop realistic threats against which blue forces might train to face.

Opfor is opposition force. During training some units are assigned to act as opfor to provide realistic force on force training. This video is for them. You can see it in the description.

Also, people didn't mention it, hybrid means combining conventional military forces with unconventional guerrilla and affiliated civilians. In this case, affiliated civilians are used to cause a ruckus in order to redirect BLUFOR into prepared ambush site. NATO kinda realized that this is a thing after Russia pulled a fast one over them.

I feel like this video as well as the last made the BLUFOR look inferior. Not using any assets they have or anything like that. Maybe add that to the next video or something. Just an idea
