Yes! I am 100% up for Harry Potter Vlog Diaries with you guys^^ Rereads ARE important! Anyway, this month's picks sound great! Also, I am waiting for either you or Ash to finally pick up Furyborn cause I've been eyeing it up for quite some time and need to know if I should go into it or not :D (but no pressure - definitely read what you wanna read in the moment, the other books will get their chance in time^^)

The Harry Potter series is on my tbr. I recently finally finished the movies (cuz i watched a few when I was young and got nightmares, especially about the spiders, still get the nightmares sometimes) So it took me a long time to get through them. But I want to read Harry Potter eventually. I think last month I decided to start Percy Jackson instead tho, so Harry's gotta wait. You reading them might make me want to start it aswell! 😅😂

Hey, I get you about the spiders. When I was younger, each of those movies scared me to death! You’re going to love the books! And Percy is amazing. I reread those last year and they’re still so enjoyable!!

I started the lonesome dove series with a dead man’s walk and it was amazing! Larry made a masterpiece with that series. Can’t wait for you to finish the entire thing

I love that you and your honey share books and read together! What a great way to be BFFs. My adult kids and I read a lot of the same books, so we talk about them when we get together. Your TBR for September sounds amazing and I'm looking at Ascendant. Loved the Dragonriders of Pern series. Another good post apocalyptic book prior to 1990 is Swan Song by Robert McCammon. Excellent book.

Suggestion: Maybe you could do a reading challenge “reading only sci-fi books”. You could start with the Ninth Gideon if you have not read it yet HEHEHHE! Or try to read manga??? Such as Attack on Titan, Claymore, or Fullmetal Alchemist 😅

AHHHH YEEAHH! Iron Gold is NUTS! I have been picking up Dark Age here and there this month…and holy crap. Definitely living up to its name😂 And I loved having Ash in the room!! She always makes the background of the video that much more fun!!

That’s ‘The Stand!’ I was like either it’s just there and you’ll bring it up at some point, OR you’ll talk about in this video! I can’t believe you’re gonna read it soon! You’re not gonna do a reading it in five-seven days, are you? Hope you savour it, plus, depending on your review, I’ll get it if you love it lol. Great video as always, I might have to check out Joe Abercrombie, because the amount of books that you own of his and the amount you speak of him is insane. I’d never even heard of him before you mentioned his books. May need your help on what to start with though… I’ve never read a western either, so can’t wait to hear your thoughts on ‘Dead Man’s Walk.’ Might need your heals with that too. 🤣 Amazing video as always!!! Honestly, the only one I watch on a regular basis is “Mike’s Book Reviews.” He has the best taste (in my opinion). Plus he has friend me on to so many different genres. And then Ash and I will watch Haley Pham and Sara Carolli together sometimes!

@@iangubeli oh ok! I watch Haley and Sara too but their book tastes arn't really my book tastes I just watch them because they are fun! I really like Library of a Viking!

@@elisabethprice4697 I enjoy Library, too. Oh!! I also really enjoy a guy named “Leaf by Leaf.” He is the guy I go to when I want general fiction, history, you name it! He is so well spoken he doesn’t make content to be entertaining, he just loves talking about books. He has a few chunky books I am intrigued about.

@@iangubeli I have been struggling with anxiety and PTSD I get flashbacks it's making it hard for me to focus on reading but I did finish some books just not much

@@angelaholmes8888 I’m sorry to hear that. Anxiety is a powerful enemy to our minds, and having gone through trauma doesn’t make it any better I’m sure. Would it be okay if my wife and I prayed for you? It’s a small way for us to be there for you, but we would love to do it all the same.

Hey! The Stand is a great book but I'm here to warn you about the sexual content. It's been about a year since I've read it so I don't remember everything, but I do remember one scene in particular that was pretty disturbing. I know some editions cut that scene out, but not sure which one you have. If you want to prepare yourself for that scene, you could search up some content warnings or I can just tell you if you want (it is not a plot spoiler).

Thank you!! I hadn’t done any research yet, but I figured King would insert unnecessary garbage like he did in IT. Are those scenes in any particular places so o no where I can anticipate them?

@@iangubeli the one I remember is during the part where the trashcan man meets the kid. Specifically when they are at the hotel. I believe that is the worst part but I don't remember any other specific scenes

Can definitely see this channel catering to 95% popular/well known books. Which is not a bad thing but thats how it seems with every video
