Thx for the great video. I was at a crossroads between getting the VoiceLive Play and VoiceLive Play GTX. You sold me on the GTX since i do play guitar while i sing. You have a great sense of humor too. Your singing reminded me of Tenacious D. Great job man.

An excellent device. I've had mine for two years. The learning curve is not too steep. Take some time to noodle around with it. Well built, easy to use and loads of fun.

I noticed on mine, that when I don't add more voices it sounds really clean and normal, but when I "hit" the added voices the sound becomes more spacey-sounding or digital. Is that just inherit to the unit, or can one tweak it to get rid of that outer-space sound?

nice reveiw! i bought one of these before it was even out on the major market, had to wait on a rain check for like 4 months, i have had it now for around 2 years and everytime i turn it on and start tinkering with it i find new things in it! never stops surprising me! great product that everyone who has came here and seen or played threw it decided they must buy one! awesome product! defently buy the extra switch 3 pedal makes for a much better unit!

@@buren86 you can program it to do many dif things, i have my 3 extra 3 buttons controlling the loop functions, but you can set it to turn on and off dif effects, jump to presets, ect it's super handy for sure

Hey Kennis! This is the one I chose after trying to decide if I was gonna buy the GR-55 or the VLP GTX. It has worked pretty good for me. A couple of notes (no pun): After a massive update, the switch-3 makes the GTX REALLY great for gigs. And the headphones out is great to record from. Other than that, I LOVED the way you made up words to sing! "I'm getting kinda loopy", "If you like this video, press subscribe". Awesome! :)

***** You can use it for guitar boost ( for solos)...you can set level and gain. Better control of the looper, with several settings. And momentary effects, which can be very handy. I use a momentary delay to make the vocal delay parts on "In The Air Tonight". I only have to push once, whenI let go, the effects is turned off. But of course, the delay taps still ring out.

Hi Kennis, I would like to know please if I play a MAJ 7/9 chord on the guitar or keyboard, if I can set the pedal to "read" this 7 and 9 intervals, or if it´s possibility is to just do it reading f.ex. the fifth and the third intervals. I would need a 4 Voice Harmony backing the leader-one, f.ex. in a CMajor chord, to read E, G, B and D up. Can this be done with this pedal, or should I look to other Helicon-model for it? So basically this one has 2 function. 1. Voice Harmonizer 2. Guitar looper. Function 2 (guitar looping) is what has been added to the TC Helicon VoicePlay Live. Is that correct? I was also wondering if this being the case, would it be more affordable to have 2 pedals doing each function? This pedal does not come cheap!

I have the gtx- it is a lot of fun and I think great value for the money. I don't think it has a guitar synth sound. Good video.

Can you run through it true bypass and not use the guitar effects? So basically, just run your guitar through it so it can pick up the key etc, but use external amp/effects... I'm not interested in the guitar effects.. many thanks for the demo

Works even better with an acoustic-electric guitar, in my opinion. The sound is natural.

So you can't have your Guitar go out to your Amp and the Vocal going to your PA ? Ther's No Out for Guitar so both have to go to the PA ? thats NUTS .Come on TC Electronics Wise up guys .

You assumption is wrong.. On the unit itself, there is a guitar (1/4" audio cable) Instrument and an instrument thru output (also 1/4" cable). From there you decide if it goes to your PA/mixer or to your guitar amp.
