The world famous 100 MOST BEAUTIFUL FACES LIST has been published annually by TC CANDLER and THE INDEPENDENT CRITICS since 1990. In recent years, the list has garnered over 12 billion social media impressions and hundreds of millions of views. It is widely considered to be the most internationally recognized and prestigious list of its kind.
The list has been acknowledged / personally thanked by over 600 celebs that have been included on the lists over the years. Unlike most other annual beauty rankings, the 100 Most Beautiful Faces List is not a popularity contest and it is definitely not country specific. It is not about the hottest or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform & broaden public opinion, instead of reflecting it.
The list introduces new faces to countries they ordinarily would not reach. The Independent Critics search far and wide, listening to the many millions of suggestions submitted by the public over the past couple of decades, and they then put together a list representative of the modern ideal of worldwide beauty. Aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope… they are all embodied in a beautiful face.
WE select only 100 faces out of the approximately 130,000 celebrities (which works out to less than 0.001%). It is a thankless task, as no individual will ever agree with all the choices.
Over 45 countries are represented on the annual list. That number seems to go up every year as the public participation grows and expands. This diversity relies heavily on public suggestions from almost every corner of the globe.

So proud of Paing Takhon not just for ranking number 1, but for standing up for justice. He’s an actor and model in Myanmar who was arrested by the Military terrorists for participating in protests against Military Junta. He was recently sentenced to three years in prison with requirement to work in labor camp for WHAT?! Just for speaking up against these evil criminals committing war crimes. FREE PAING TAKHON! 💔

Hi, the list is awesome if you want to know all the idols in there, but just a note: Bambam and Jackson, even tho they're soloists, they're still in GOT7. The members are still together and the group is still active. They're just in different companies now, but they own the name of GOT7.

Although I am a Kpopper, I'm very glad to see our Paing Takhon at No1. Thank TC for giving this chance to our guy. Paing is such a brave guy standing with Myanmar people to fight for Democracy. He was arrested with all the other protesters who try to fight for justice. I hope he and all others be free soon.

He is now behind the bars for standing with the people of Myanmar and against military Junta. You may be able to control a physical form of a man but not his soul and talents.

I’m about to cry to see Paing Tha Khon being No 1 in this list. He is strong and beautiful not only physically but also mentally. He is also one of the images of our country’s revolution. As a Burmese, I am very proud of him.

For those who do not know Paing Takhon, he is an actor and model from Myanmar who is currently detained by the military junta due to his anti-coup political movement. After nearly 8 months held on remand, he has been sentenced to 3 years in a labour camp yesterday. FREE Paing Takhon immediately!!! FREE political activists and detainees. RESTORE DEMOCRACY. 🇲🇲

I am here becoz of Paing Takhon . He is such a kind-hearted, talented man. He just jailed for 3 years with hard labour yesterday becoz he stood on the right side. He's been actively participated in protests against Myanmar military junta both in real life and through his social media 😅. More than 120 celebrities are still on the wanted list and some are still on the run. Pray for Myanmar. Help us stop crime against Humanity 🙌🏻

Why everyone is mentioning about their kpop idols instead who winning the first place Let me introduce him His name is Paing TaKhon ( 23 years ) who is a well-known model and artist from Myanmar He got sentenced to jail for 3 years because of his movement in protests against Myanmar Military Coup recently. We Burmese people are so proud of Paing TaKhon. Recently, the junta sentenced him for three years of jail with hard labor and it’s absolutely ridiculous. But nobody can compress the bravery and talent of him. We will keep supporting for him and keep fighting to get back our freedom till the end.

@@greenflag5143 He was abducted since April 2021, and yesterday he was decided to be imprisoned for 3 years ( including hard labor ) at the court because he participated in the revolution against the military junta. There can be no way for the political prisoners including him to be free unless democracy is restored in the country and the dictatorship ends.

I am so proud of PAING TA KHON. I almost cried when I saw his photo. Not only is he handsome but he is also kind and upright. He will always be one of my most respected artists in Myanmar. I am always proud of him. We are praying every day for his release and for our country.

So proud of our Hyunjin at 12 and our Bang Chan at 24, I wish all the members of skz were here, but I am very happy for my 2 boys, next year we will have everyone in skz, very happy that Hyunjin almost entered the top 10, seriously, they barely debuted 3 years ago but they are already high in these lists

According to these lists at least 1/4 are Korean. Too many from the Far East and a few from other countries. A few from Europe, North and South America and non from Africa.

I'm literally crying. As a Myanmar citizen, I'm so proud of Paing Takhon being elected as the most handsome man in 2021. Such a country image he is. Not only his physical appearance is charming, he has a powerful mindset and strong resilience for the revolution. Wish him to be freed ASAP. (He was sentenced 3 years in prison for protesting against the military coup.)
