Teach your dog to heel between your legs the fun and easy way. In this video I introduce Duane, our young Labrador to a skill that Goofy our Malinois knows so well. Heeling between your legs. Its a fun thing to learn and teach to your dog, its also an exercise in Mondio Ring Sport. In this video I'll teach you the foundations to teach it to your dog. The advanced (part 2) of this lessons, 30+ minutes is available in my members only area:

I think you mean Bloat. They're really bad for bloat in UK. Mayb elsewhere. But this is a young dog. They get like beer barrels on legs don't they. Hideous. Cauliflower ear too. And staffies. They're floppy ears like whips evetyrime they whip the head they damage until one day they've taken enough abuse to the ears they puff full of blood. It's nothing major but looks horrible. Best to just get them stiched immediately.

Holy smokes! We worked on this for the first time ever yesterday for about 5-10 minutes. Just like you did with the treats. Just now he gave me his "I wanna train" look (yes, he actually does that)! We went through our usual sequence of commands (no treats for our typical daily training) and I added Through to see if he'd remember. He sure the heck did! I was blown away! First of all, I have a damn smart dog. Secondly, you are a damn good instructor! Thank you so much for sharing your training knowledge on this channel!

Great job articulating your point without over explaining yourself. The second camera angle offered a good angle to see how you put pressure on the dog with your thighs. I've a 130 lb 8 month old blue tri XXL bully. He loves when I straddle him to play tug o war. He'll have fun learning this. You rock Bro. Thank you.

im going to use this video to try to teach my dog using the command word "safe" for walking bridleways, this video was really informative and in my opinion the perfect way to train, i wasnt sure how to first teach my excitable young border collie exactly what i wanted, but our first time since i watch this video shes happy shes making me happy, little more work to do, having on her a lead really did help me be able to guide her at first

One dog can benefit your life while another can totally ruin it, odds are that adopted dog you just got was given away from some unknown health issue or personality defect that caused the abandonment in the first place and which will cause you to give it up also. You have a totally random dog you just purchased with no hip and elbow or health certifications and history. You have no idea how you inspect a dog to begin with, because you're new! Sounds like a shot in the barrel, not for everyone, don't get sentimental with your dog because their lives are so relatively short to begin with. You can own a pet but a pet can turn in to a tool for growth

Your an excellent trainer. Made me subscribe to your .com channel. Love your podcast too!!! Okay enough sucking up. Taught Barchen your back command. Went to local park a lady said, she had never seen a dog walk backwards. Barchen and I learned middle on or own. I use the command ‘middle’ Barchen immediately is between my legs. Now my question. Probably not a good thing, from the come command (sitting looking at me) if open my legs he goes around and in between my legs ‘middle’ without a verbal command. We do other visual commands down, sit, up. Is this wrong???

Hey Robert! I'm getting a swiss shepherd in juli this year (hope he'll have a good drive) and I plan on training him with your binary dog system. I will probably become one of your paid members in juli as well but I have 2 questions. Is there a pfd with every lesson or just 1? Do you include some sort of training schedule so I will have a good view on what to train when? (so I can also know wether the dog is progressing too slow or rather good.). After all the research I've done you seem to have the most relaxed and effective methods + your videos are perfect quality. Thanks in advance!

We have a Border Collie female (4 years)staying with us from 1 week, which is sometimes humping on legs. This is mainly happening when we were training and giving treats, and then didn't treat. If it's happening in the home, we put her in a room for a short time, but most often it's happening on walks, and on the leash I am not sure how to deal with her then? Otherwise we don't have any issues with her at all. She is in heat, and I was wondering if it's also about this. We've been watching your channel from quite a time, since we had a Malinois which has passed some time ago. Would be happy to get advice about this from you.

Axel does Bridge easy. I started with sit. Heel. Realised I was saying GO SIT often too. Which he would go sit facing me. Get a treat wait for me to open a door. So I had heel and go sit. Then I put the treat between my legs behind got him there. Saying bridge. But he didn't get that I realised tapping my back pocket was way better. Two taps he jumps under me. Tonight I walked out of it but he stayed with me. Oooww I thought. So then we spent 10min creeping around the room with his head poking from my croch lol. I did turn both ways too. He broke afew time I stayed still he got back in position. He's not trained just me and him he's the first smart dog I ever had its incredible how fast he learns. My last dog was a staffy he was incredible but stupidly clever not clever at all. But a big cuddle bunny. Axel has a side to him I don't like and I know its because he'd rather think for himself. He does this weird kangaroo thing throwing paws at me. Could take my eye out one day if he don't quit it soon. But the first thing I taught him was NO TEETH so now he's like fine ill use my paws. But throws them around like a kangaroo at times. He gets excited easy his lipstick out. Infact it was the biggest I've ever seen it after 10min of this creeping around the room. I didn't use treats no reward but praise. But next time I'll be more preparared and treat him with biscuits so then he don't start throwing paws mayb.

Robert Cabral healing a dog on the left was meant for armed forces so they don’t shoot the dog accidentally. Also people mostly walk on the right side so now when another person with a dog is walking towards you and passes on the left side there will be a good 4 ft. between the two dogs giving enough space.

Every dog is food and treat motivated, you're just not hand feeding his meals, using high value treats and food, and aren't making food and hand feeding fun.

I hate the fact he’s not neutered. If they’re not for breeding, it’s basically blue balling your dog his whole life

Robert Cabral I’m not a dog, humans have much more control over there hormones, for the most part at least. If they didn’t, there would be a lot more rape victims . I also don’t want dog to be breeding, he’s a service dog, if he’s constantly looking for a bitch in heat, he’s not gonna go his job and put my life at risk. Also, look at how many dogs are in pounds because of unfixed dogs. Im sure you’re a responsible owner and keep him away from other dogs, but if everyone where a responsible dog owner, the world would be a lot better place.

And it is much longer healthier life without being neutered! I have seen two dogs crippled with cruciate ligament injury, watched them go down screaming. We now know cruciate ligament injury is much more likely in neutered dogs, as is osteosarcoma. In addition, neutered dogs have less lean muscle, more likely to overweight to develop arthritis , prostate cancer and more. But the worst issue is temperment. So many dogs have major temperament issues after neutering. They have recently found that hormone replacement can reverse much of the damage and return dogs to stable personalties, but it is very expensive. I understand someone wanting dogs neutered to prevent over population . But it isn't an issue for responsible owners anyway. We intending let our dogs roam. But maybe before judging others birthday should actually do some research on the harm done by neutering. And please note I am referring to males only. The health risks for an intact female who is never bred probably do outweigh the risk of spay if the spay is done after growth plates have closed.
