Derek Stefanik, Postdoctoral Researcher, Kim Lab, Biology Department, University of Pennsylvania, discusses Bioinformatics: What Makes a Cell a Cell (revised later to “What Makes a Nerve Cell Different from a Skin Cell?”).
This is one of eight videos of the Discovering the Genome Workshop for teachers held at the University of Pennsylvania campus July 18-19, 2016 to support teaching the free genomics curriculum at discoveringthegenome.org.
Produced for the "Discovering the Genome" curriculum by the High School Genomics Project at the University of Pennsylvania. This project is generously funded by the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations (www.avdf.org/).
