My old school always ignored the fire alarms. Once there was an actual fire in the trashcan. Luckily, I've moved schools now. The teachers don't usually even say anything when the alarm goes off. We don't know if it's a drill or not. We don't go single-file and they won't yell at you if you grab something. Everyone walks on their own without being yelled at which is nice, and while there'd talking there's never screaming. The teachers will close their doors behind them and we'll all stay in the yard until the alarm stops and we all go back inside. It actually isn't very anxiety-inducing for me (past my own occasional overthinking) and I get severe panic attacks. It's kind of nice that they don't yell at us lol
