You can also shift with the shift knob by moving left or right when it's on M mode. Found that easier to use than the paddles when I was hitting curves

It's not a self-drive. That's the lane-keep assist. It's supposed to help drivers stay in their own lane while driving, not the drive the car for you. Like a friendly nudge so you don't accidentally drift to a different lane.

Don’t let her learn stick on the m4 bro, as funny as it would be to watch, I’d feel way too bad when she broke your shit😂. I learned on an old dodge Dakota truck and was super glad it wasn’t anyone’s baby. I cringe now just thinking about the grinding and clutch jumping I made that poor truck go through lol. The m340i is a sweet car, I have looked at getting one before too, Zay just doesn’t understand the fun of sleeper cars.

eh manual transmissions are a lot more durable than you think...main thing is the clutch will wear faster, but the actual transmissions are bulletproof.
