Excellent Xolette. I love it. I wish my parents and wife took an interest in throwing. I have thrown once or twice with my wife and it's fun. I have had a competition with my dad and that was fun too.

+FastActionBlades Yeah, my husband has only thrown with me when I told him he had to, like for those challenges. :) Some of us get addicted to that "thunk" sound. My mom is definitely one of us. I'd build her a target if she had the space for it!

Xolette Awesome. Glad to hear your mom actually enjoys it. Your dad looked like he could care less. Your mom was excited about those sticks which was so awesome to see. I thought your husband was into it a little more but I guess not. Definitely do some videos on your moms progress if she continues to throw. That would be great.

PERFECT!, I loved it so bad! You really nailed us this time Xolette, we totally love your parents they are awesome and such badasses at throwing, especially your mom, to be honest i wouldn't of taught her how to throw, imagine if she gets angry with you and Jon and then chases you all over the house with a throwing knife, evidence of this is when she says "I'm better than you Jon"! Even though that would be hilarious it's scary XD Thank you for presenting your parents to us all, they're so lovely, wouldn't mind to see them again and thanks for sharing another video!

Wow! It's been years since I looked up knife throwing videos. I'm happy that you still make videos. I actually learned how to do a no spin throw from your video years ago :D. I wish I could do this with my parents. they get too nervous with blades lol

Xolette... take some candle wax and rub the field point threads of your arrows in the wax (or use string wax). This will act like a sort of "Loc-Tite" and keep your field points from loosening (I could hear it in the video...you can hear a difference in the impact sound). If the nocks are plastic inserts... nothing you can do about that (you can try the wax on them too, but it may or may not work/help). If you permanently glue the nock in the arrow and it happens to break it then it will be a b%*^! to replace. GREAT grouping throws from your MA!!!!!

hey xolette. I enjoy your videos. I'm learning more about knife throwing and thought I'd pass along a fun challenge. it took me a few weeks, but I cut a matchstick in half (it was vertical) from 10ft away. I look forward to seeing more videos : )

Wow, that sounds a lot of things to do there! We wish that we could give you a hand over there :) hehe Jason did an excellent accuracy on this video. However, Jason did hit the 2 targets in one location but what we meant is to hit 3 or 2 targets from different locations. Something like, one target from the 10 o'clock location, another from the 12 o'clock, and another one from the 2 o'clock with just one throw (2-3 knives). Do you think that you can do something like that for us? Sounds kinda' difficult but we believe that you could do it :) Hope to see this challenge from you soon ^_^

Lol it made me cringe every time an arrow hit the fence XD. Thank goodness for how strong carbon arrows often are. Also definitely teach your mom the mongolian thumb draw for next time she shoots your bow (easier to shoot an opposite hand bow that way). Your parents are just so darn adorable!

I'm not allowed to set up a rang even with guidance from my parents because I'm to young and I involves knives and I don't live in the USA so it's more difficult to set up a range in my garden

omg, a military half spin, I was wondering where my dad got the throw from since he has served, I was wondering what it was called, it makes SO much sense now knowing the name because the throw was the one he taught me, it makes sense that that's the throw he would know. also the throw is better up close, you just have to put a bit more spin into it, also, I only know half spins, whats a good throw for learning how to do a full spin?
