The only problem with this is the fact that there are always emergencies in life, whether that be a worse economy, a broken bone, or increased bills, if the money you save is too little, for example $1 a day, then when that emergency arises, the money is gone in an instant. This video may be inspiring in the moment, but nobody will be able to walk 10,000 dogs or do 10,000 haircuts quick enough to become a millionaire. What Steve might be thinking in his head is to start a company with like $100-$500 and grow by getting regular customers and hiring people while creating new locations, like a barbershop for instance. Or instead you could get creative with something like art and make something worth $50 instead of $10 simply by being unique in your business space. Once you find a path that gets consistent good money, then you can start saving. Saving money only works when there is a large enough sum being saved, too little, and it’s just an emergency fund likewise to a piggy bank.

I swear Steve opens my eyes everytime I watch one of his videos. Here I am literally sitting here thinking how can I make 100k next year instead of 50k what’s the next idea what can I create...when literally one of his previous videos I watched last year convinced me to start my own business. I had to think about what I do easily without thinking. ITS CLEANING! I hate things out of place or dirty. So I started a commercial cleaning business. I have 2 clients which bring in around 2k a month. My problem is I try to do so many things at once...run a t shirt press business...sneaker business...delivery driver...instead of focusing on 1 thing..my cleaning business! I got 2 clients and then stopped trying for more! I’m going for 5 clients...then 10...then maybe hire employees...then who knows...thanks Steve for keeping me woke!

It isn’t that simple really. He did the math wrong. For $1million you would need to do something worth $10 one hundred THOUSAND times (10 x 100 000) = 1 000 000. 10000 hair cuts a year for example would take you 100 years...

with this concept what he is saying that after you have multiplied by 10, that's going to be your new rate that you're going to charge your clients. that is how rich people think. the poor man's mentality is going to continue to charge $10 and never increase the rate. every time you multiply it by 10, you should be also improving your skills to make you worthy of charging a higher rate. It is basically increasing your talents with improved skills by 10 on every effort...and BAM, your a millionaire. this is how many small businesses grew to become multi-millionaires and of course by hiring a competent staff.

Nobody is paying 1,000 or even 100 dollars for a babysitter, haircut, lawn care, etc. There are very few things people will pay that kind of money for and one of them is to attend motivational speaker seminars to have smoke blown up their ass. I used to think pretty highly of Steve Harvey until I heard him peddle this BS. Sad. He must have been forced to completely sell out to pay his back-taxes.

I'm confused, if I babysit for $10 ten times I'll have $100. If I do that ten more times then I'll have $200 not $1000. No one is going to pay $100 for a babysitter who originally charged $10

Yes! I am in between jobs currently and am dying to find something where I am not miserable on a Sunday night because of having to go to work Monday morning. Most of my jobs have been like that, unfortunately. Like not horrible, but I don't look forward to going there. Hopefully your son pays attention to the math classes he's taking. Because Steve Harvey clearly didn't. The math isn't 10x10x10x10. The math is 10x(10x4), which adds up to 10x40 because at this point you've only done that thing 40 times. That equals $400... not 10 thousand.

if it’s honestly possible for you, if you have a minimum wage job, if you can save the rest of the money left, even if it’s $100 left, put away $75, and somehow, manage to live off $25, $25 can be used for gas, and if it’s possible, get food stamps, there’s plenty of ways to cheat to get that shit 😭, but if you take $25 which isn’t a lot for gas, but if you live close enough to work, it can maybe work, and you have the $75 you can take out at any point, but take that $75 for 4 weeks, $300 at the end of the month, take that $300 invest in a stock, let’s say you make $15, so now you got $315, try to manage at that for one more month, now you’ll have $615 by the next month, take that $615, $300 made you $15, so take that $615, you’ll make around $37, now you got $652, after 2 months, repeat the process, find different stocks, test different ones, don’t be afraid to lose a couple dollars, and you’ll honestly in years time be making thousands if you find stocks that even make you $15 starting with a $300 investment.

My gift is research so at first I was thinking, of course I can do that for $10. Even the lowest supported research studies could be paid for maybe $100 or $1000. I can't wait to see what a research project that pays me $10M looks like. I have some amazing ideas that could completely propel humanity to the next level. I also like how this concept is like breaking down earnings goals into realistic incremental steps.

Start with the basics $10. Multiply 10 more until you get to $100,000... $100,000×10= 1 million. Then repeat. The numbers make sense.

If I just ask myself what is I do best without thinking about is I play drums. Every since I was little that's all I cared about doing. That's what kept me in school, academically focused. Thinking about it I have even managed to obtain a scholarship for just playing drums. Now I'm just cycling together how to "STAY" in my gift at 25. I don't own a drum set personally but I'm constantly playing on drumpads to to music. If anybody views my comment below, then don't hesitate to share how are you choosing to "STAY" with your gift and not let it fundle away. This guy is for certain a comedian! Those things he preaches, he says because he has made it (financially) in life and he believes that anyone can do it as well. Life is like being born with good looks...not all of us have that (gift) and no matter how many pretty people give you advice on how to become good looking, it’s just not gona’ happen for some of us! For some things there aren’t any formulas to be this or that, we can try and hope that things go as well for us as it has for some. If there was a formula, we would all be rich. The proof is in people who have tried and tried hard (in any field) and just not made it! So you end up becoming or working in another field. If this guy knew what he’s talking about, he would suggest to people to try what he tried in succeeding and that it might just work for them like it did for him. But that it’s not a guaranteed outcome that things will turn out as we think they will. The irony of it all is that I could say to him...you’re funny.

I like that. The problem with this is that doing something ten more times could be time consuming and exhausting. Getting resources then delegating the work to 10 people makes more sense, efficiency , energy and time is saved concurrently
