0:08 Just a small little rant but idk if you could consider Sean to be on “team Arthur” in this instance; I think he’d be more likely to be on “team Dutch”. For the most part throughout the story we didn’t get a whole lot of character development as to what kind of person Sean really was, but one thing I thought of that sparked this was that one side mission you can do with Sean where you go and rob a house. In that mission Sean expressed his thoughts and feelings about the Blackwater incident as well as talking about how he feels about Dutch, when they met, how Dutch feels about him; most importantly he says “it’s time folks stopped giving Dutch a hard time about all that Blackwater business if you asked me. The mans not a fortune teller. You can plan, you can use your head. But you never really know what you’re walking into.” After that being said the rest of the companion activity goes on like normal. When really thinking about what Sean said, it’s seems like he can see Dutch for his faults, but in despite of it all he still sticks with him and believes in him even when he messed up. Sean sorta reminds me of Javier in a way, to me Javier seems smart enough to realize the faults of what the gang and Dutch did wrong and how they ended up in their situation, yet it’s his blind loyalty to Dutch is what makes him side with him in the end. Sean also has that sorta blind loyalty if you ask me, and that if he did last till the bitter end, he would’ve followed Dutch. In regards to siding him with Arthur, the only real reason I can think of doing that is because Sean had like what, 4 or so missions of character development? In truth the only reason I can see him siding with Arthur is because “oh he’s that comic relief character” and “oh he and Arthur were nice to each other.” If that ladder reason were the case than that means Javier should’ve sided with Arthur because they went fishing that one time. As a whole I don’t see a reason as to why Sean would side with Arthur as opposed to siding with Dutch. That’s just my thoughts though, feel free to criticize me for believing Sean ain’t as good as he seems to be.

It’s sad to see Javier on dutch’s side even though he was neutral because during the cut scene as the gang is dividing into 2 parts you could see Javier is aiming his gun up in the air which meant he was neutral he was also feeling a ton of pressure during that moment
