I am crying at this moment from nostalgia of all the old team edge vids and old vlogs and when they got the office..

Watching this Fall 2021, as I'm moving across the country for college. This video is like the good nostalgia. I think it was a time when things were much more optimistic for Hi5 & Team Edge. I like the current Project 863, but I think there was something magical about the challenges and wacky products that characterized old Hi5

Team Edge was the first channel that made me feel like KZfaq was more of a community than just a gaming platform like Twitch. It was the first channel I really got into. I love the channel and I still remember watching videos from 3 years ago. I love the whole Hi5 Studios team and am subbed to EVERY one of the channels, and was subbed when they came out. I have been subbed with Matthias since he did the whisper challenge with Bob, Wade, and Mark. And I even remember getting that notification from his channel for the Disney Singing Challenge with Markiplier. I love how much these channels are growing and I can't wait to hopefully one day be a part of it. I love doing art, but if there was one thing I would love to do one day, it would be working with Team Edge and even Hi5. I wish luck to Matthias, Joey, and Brian. I have been praying since I found out about Joey's health issues that he would get better and it has been working. Congrats guys

I used to watch these guys everyday after school, I started watching them about 4 or 5 years ago when it was just j-Fred, brain and Mathias. I rember coming home from school going on my iPod opening KZfaq and watch them three at there little table with there team edge shirts on with there names on it and getting so happy, I got so sad the first time I saw this video, I always come back to this video and always get sad😞 I always hope one day Mathias will come back😭

This is just an absolutely amazing example of growing something amazing out of just an idea. A single idea. In an apartment, three guys, and a dream. And now Matt is the CEO of a large studio containing many channels, living his dream, and living life itself. It’s just perfect.

Who's cutting the onions around here?? Seriously... Matt, you're an amazing brother and honestly, I'm kinda jealous of your brothers and sister for getting to have you. I remember when I first found Team Edge... I had actually just found Matt's channel with the Disney Song Challenge with Markiplier and Team Edge came up in the recommended. When I watched your first videos, I could tell that there was something special about this group... Being able to watch you all grow from the apartment to the garage then to the studio, I was so proud. I've seen many KZfaqrs and have never really gotten very involved with their lives other than to watch their videos, but Team Edge was different. If ever I was feeling down, there was always a video to make me happy again. When I found all the members on Instagram and saw all the Christian posts there, I knew instantly why Team Edge was different from others. All of you have a blessing from God, a light that shines through to your viewers and in turn blesses us. Never let go of your faith, trust God always, and do His work. Bless all of you, Team Edge and the others at Hi5 Studios

Honestly l almost cried watching this video because l remember when you came out with songs, hit 1 million subscribers, won internet icon, created team edge, and just watched everything grow from there. I remember when Amanda got pregnant, gave birth and when Luna turned one. I honestly look up to you for how much you've accomplished and how successful you've been along with everyone else. I remember finding Matthias in 2015 and when he announced the formation of team edge. I remember when it was just the three of them doing crazy challenges and all of their craziness. I've been watching team edge on and off as I've grown, and I'm so proud of how team edge has grown and the dedication that J-fred and Bryan put into team edge (and Matthias of course but primarily them). I'm sad that Matthias won't be in videos that much anymore but still excited to see the future of team edge. (Also Bryan looks good in this video okay bye)

i miss when it was just team edge. just three best friends having fun making videos together. then they started to get popular, and decided to make other channels, which eventually formed hi-5 studios. and i love everyone that works there, they are all super awesome people! but tbh, when it was just team edge, and matt was still there, it was way funnier,and i felt like a part of their family. but now, their videos barely make me laugh, and they feel just like this super huge company that i can't even relate to. don't get me wrong, i still love team edge ( #teamjfred :D) but i like their old videos 50x more than any other videos in hi-5, and i just wish that they would go back to doing that. love you guys, dashy

Yeah I agree, I wasn't a team edge follower a long time ago, actually about 3 months I found them on youtube. Anyway, I super love their first videos with Bryan, J-Fred and Matt, their chemistry is awesome together. I like seeing them achieve success but I miss their old videos.

I came during the garage days. I immediately loved it, and it's when I was going through really tough times with my Narcolepsy and my Depression. The Team Edge channel could always cheer me up without fail, and got me through some of my darkest days. I was sad when you moved away from TeamEdge, but I was happy because I knew you were happy. I saw your other channels, and subscribed to those. This is emotional for me, I can't even imagine how much more emotional it must be for you, having been there and seeing first hand how it grew. Keep doing what you are all doing, and I love you all! ❤️ Edit: Fixed some Grammar and spelling. Sorry this is two days late, but I felt the need to tell you how much you and your whole team have helped me.

This is proof that anyone can truly do anything they set there mind to. I remember watching the very first team edge video and I haven't missed an upload since. Bryan and Joey and Bobby and everyone who has ever been part of the channel, whether it be participation or production, all of them have helped this wonderful project grow to be where it's at. This is the start of something new, and strong, and inspiring, and i can't wait to see where life takes all of us. I want all of my fellow fans to also remember that though we're not in these videos, and though we don't create the content within, we're all part of team edge too. The community is so powerful and so strong and supportive, it warms my heart more than words can describe. Thank you, Matt, as well as everyone in this community. Thank you for a wonderful adventure. And I, along with many others, can't wait to see what lies ahead. I send all of my love, and then some, and wish the best of luck to what may come in the future.

Eric Jensen why are we babies? We are connected to this group of people. To this setting where you see the people you care about grow and change. The place they are now leaving. It's not wimpy or weak, its natural. Having emotions for something you care about is normal. I'm not tryna hate on you, but when you truly have something you care about it, then it goes away or changes, you feel it. You get emotional. Its totally natural.

i realize i wrote this on twitter but i couldn't fully say what i felt i needed to say. while watching this and listening to matt it honestly makes you think, and realize how much team edge has grown. they went from an apartment to what they have now and its so inspiring to see what they have accomplished in 3 years time, and each day they grow more and more, and now even though it may be sad they have even more opportunities and space to do what they love. for the people who have been with team edge the whole way, ever since the beginning will see that team edge isnt just matt, bryan, and joey. team edge isnt just people its like a family, who grows and progress more each day. watching and seeing everything they've done is just heartwarming, just to be even with them in the slightest while they grow . i cant wait to watch them grow more as the years go by, and to see what becomes of the channel. just by seeing this can inspire people, like wow in 3 years they grew so much. it just makes me and hopefully others so happy to see this, to see them be able to do more, to make more people smile each day. team edge may have left hi5, and red base. but the one place they will never leave is the spot they've created in our hearts.

I was almost in tears for this video. Team edge is one of my favorite channels and to see them move out is awesome but I got choked up when Mathias was talking about the beginning and process to get to where they are now. His love for every channel in Hi5 is amazing!

Honestly, it’s beautiful how Matthias took J-Fred and Brian under his wing to show them the beauty of his world, KZfaq. And if anything, I think that Team Edge is going to improve so much over the years. And the best part is, if they ever do quit KZfaq, they’ll always know they have loving and supporting friends and fans to come back to, and remind them of the good days. It's amazing how change happens. Growing and learning to be someone better and giving service to others is awesome. It's so exciting how many people are helping and working with Hi5 and Team Edge. The community has grown so much since I started watching. Thank you for sharing these experiences with me. I've always loved how close everyone is. You can joke around with each other and tease but you can also sit down and have a really interesting and really eye opening disscusions.

I can't believe I've been with Matt's channel since Team Edge started. I remember how it was a big thing to move from Matt's tiny apartment to that corner of his garage. Then it went to an office with a warehouse where they could actually do bigger things, now to a bigger office with even more space. I'm happy to see Team Edge growing so much!

as the years go by i still remember finding your videos and to see both your channel and team edge grow and continue growing it reminds me of the reason to keep going and move on to something bigger and soon it will become something you never thought it would be. i know this is 2 years ago but man looking back at this it just gives me motivation to go after the dreams we all want and who knows maybe one day i will reach my own dreams.

Matt! So I had an idea (and I kinda think it's great)...all the Hi5 vloggers should do a day/week of vlogs only in the style of The Office. Like have the normal footage but also have separate interviews with people, get some B-roll of random stuff around the studios (like in the title sequence of The Office). There are so many fun things you could build into this idea and it is content I'd love to see. It's also not too dissimilar to a normal vlog that people watching that have not seen The Office would be confused.

I am so very excited for thins new chapter in Team Edge! I remember when it was just Team Edge and as Team Edge grew so did the amazing community that it has grown to be today! You guys are one of the few KZfaq channels that do so much for there veiwers! your videos take so much effort and so much ideas into each and every single video. And you guys have grown so much not only as a community but as people! You guys have come so , so far! It is honestly inspiring and crazy! You guys do so much for us! each and every single video is original! The crew on and off camera do so much for this community that is still being built even though it has come so far! You guys deserve every single bit of praise! How far you have come and its just crazy to think this all started in your apartment and has continued to grow and grow and grow ever since. I just have to thank you guys for all that you do. I do struggle with depression and when a new video came out were the best days out of the week! They have helped me so much and so i really needed to thank you guys! You guys do so much! Even though you might not ever read this, it felt good to wright! Love you guys!!!!!
