Love all the skaters out there but Kostons team constantly cheated or at least would toe drag and think it was fine but call out Shane’s team on the same shit. To me hypocrisy gets me super competitive and pissed off

That is what it means to have a competition, but they made it obvious/clear at the end they where just chilling having a good time skateboarding for fun so everyone is a winner which is dope.

He was so stylie the whole damn time too. So smooth and easy, nothing rushed, tre flips the hydrant because of course he did lol. Shane is so incredibly fluid in everything he does, without a doubt one of the greatest skaters, technically, of all time

@putsome basilonit Nope, exact same time. A second angle won't matter because that's not how physics works. You can see they both go off, but the one is just faint. Frame by frame it and you can see that it does go off, but the bulk of the confetti is past the frame by the time the shutter goes off.

I feel you. I feel it's a defense mechanism to compensate for how crusty he's gotten in certain areas due to his aging. It's not easy man. I think we should just be happy there's a character like him around at this stage even if he overdoes it at times😄

Sensei Rae couldn’t agree more, totally a defensive mech to keep from looking like an idiot for not being able to do a flip trick over a hydrant off a bump on the spot. The shit isn’t easy!!!! No one should get that confused, but he is competing outside his class,especially given the fact that each generation of skater has pushed the sport further and further. You can’t fight old age and the damage you do to your body, it’s sucks and he is just coming to terms with that in his own way.

It was annoying though how hypocritical he would still be in moments... he was totally happy landing something sketch or something similar happening to someone on his team but if the other team did it he was the first to yell out “No! Toe drag!!” I’m sorry but keep it the same across the board. If you want to be a chill person participating but knowing you’re obviously on the fringes.. act accordingly!

Not just me,this guy also, im not that bad everyone else doing this stuff" just ends up coming across as dooshy. He should rather leave that part to someone else at the very least.

I want to agree with you, but I will say, Eric came and intercepted Roberts last stretch by like half tackling him, and it made him have to run out, while ishod got to crash into the finish line much faster. Robert got robbed by that.

Maybe another guy his age on the other team as captain. Prime Koston is one thing, but at this age he’s a liability against the young pros.
