This is a two team, three versus three competition, where skill and passion are put to the test through four rounds. Each round is worth a 2 second (total of 6 seconds up for grabs) head start which applies to the final round.

Yeah shoot. This year it's taking forever to pick up. I like the joes inclusion, but I think it being in the beginning feels like noise/static. Show some joe love intermittedly with the pros imo. What would be best if they had that many skaters but only pros. I love that this will take a long time, but so many folks I never hear of. I think they're playing too much into the IG influence appeal. All that stuff is empty to me. Yes. These are skaters too, but there's a level of fluff to it someone like Eldridge didn't rely on. When he was a young face, his mode of pushing things along was getting Yeah Right good. No followers. Not bs. Just KILLLING IT. So given that part, I think the big shots are playing the numbers game. "Let's get some IG faces to get some viral viewership". Kinda LA, Koston.

Facts. Im 32 returning to skating. I smoke and getting winded does happen, but the hip soreness. My goodness do my hips hurt from skating. If he has that too, I don't know what to say.

Yeah what was that? Malto is weird. Misses the warm up, but actually does pretty well mid game. Thats like if Tiger Woods sank 2 balls in the pond before surviving in the competition by a shoe lace.

Yeah best episode of SLS games I've seen. Same with that change show, which I like but for some reason can't appreciate. Not sure why. I want to like it more, but it gets faded out by my other thoughts. I think it's the host. He reminds me of someone I used to know, and his ADHD just meant ignoring him 97% of the time.

Seeing Dashawn with his new TM board was sick. So hyped on him rn. The contests, TM part, everything he does is gold. Real SOTY makings. I admit I didn't always think this. When I was introduced to Dashawn, I was impressed with how he would boardslide UP like anything, but at the time he had a "fake" Zion kind of thing to me. In that Zion is another new brotha on the scene absolutely killing it. But, damn. Did Dashawn ever prove me wrong. "Oh you thought I was 2nd tier? Watch I'm gonna go to the Olympics. Rep TM, Ed, and Sinclair. Basically all your favorite shit. Who's the no name now?" I also love the representation on TM. Aside from Maldonado, I don't think there have been that many Black team members. I love TM. That's not a criticism. It's just what happens when a predominately white interest starts to diversify. Good things a happening, and it's got Dashawns name all over it.

Oh and also (me as Dashawn) "You know those Toy Machine videos you grew up with? Well I'm gonna drop possibly the best Toymachine part that may have existed ever. Getz in JOAB is pretty sweet, maybe Jay Lay's 1st part, Tripasso was sick, Ed and all 50 of his years and parts. Hard to say if it was the "best", but did he ever join the list of all time top TM parts. that tre into that hubba is just out of this world. Remember when people would front blunt that thing and we lost our minds? Imaging if someone told you that someone is gonna tre into that beast? It would sound crazy.

God this was intense. I was more nervous than PRod. At the same time Dashawn has not a single worry in his mind and it's obvious how this gives an advantage. I'm really glad Paul won because I totally see how hard it can be when you allow yourself to start worrying. Even in a friendly competition. Btw I think Louie did a great job at this one. I agree with all his calls except for the fakie 540 flip. But I think he was just feeling pressure from the others judging him. All the other sketchy tricks that he allowed are fair. Also there's no rule against strategising or taking your time to come up with a trick.

They get their gains. Big industry finds a way to always win in some form. Something thats like that is my content. Being a content maker means having something to talk about is valuable. Because stuff rolls on a conveyor belt of sorts the question of "what to make? what to show?" becomes a struggle. Gotta keep up with the marketing, but always have something to say. That is a huge part of it. You would be surprised how much money they can bring up on 100k views. Which isn't typical. Skateboarding is kind of unique in that way. But once they've gotten permission to show famous faces, and a vehicle to have something to show, thy've actually got a pretty good cash cow. I don't know how much the skaters get paid. Probably something. Maybe stock or crypto. These people will make it happen through some loop hole.
